Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Timeseems to have taken the gaming community by storm, at least a bit more than many of us anticipated. As such, it’s probable that plenty of players will have no real familiarity with either of the series' previous titles, Fantasy Life and Fantasy Life Mobile.
Some, however, will be returning vets who are simply delighted to see their underrated series make its epic return. Who else makes an epic return? Are there characters in Fantasy Life i who gurus of prior entries will be delighted to see in shinier graphics? There are a handful - here are their names!
6Yuelia
Here’s a big one:Yuelia. Alas, she’s alsothe last returning Fantasy Life character whom you’re likely to encounter.
to recruit Yuelia - that’s right,you can recruit her as a Buddy!- you will need to havefinished Fantasy Life i’s main storyline. Furthermore,your home island must reach Rank 5.
At this point,Golden Celestia’s Gifts will begin spawningon your island. They do so fairly slowly, butonce you have 50, speak with Flutter. The well-known gal who headed to Reveria in a bid to save the realm will at last appear in the newest game!
5Laura
Fantasy Life fans will recall thePrincess of Castele, whose name isLaura. We’re delighted to say thatLaura is also recruitable.
To get her on your team, you’ll need theFree-Spirited CapStrangeling. You’ll get this by completing theSed’nas Shrinein Ginormosia. It’s located inEast Dryridge Desert, so you can find it very soon into your arrival in this vast region.
With the customary 100 Celestia’s Gifts, the cap can be dissolved to reveal Laura, aPaladinwith a fun past.
4Duglas
Duglas- or should we say, ‘the Dugonator’ - is theMaster of Minersfrom Fantasy Life. Not only is he recruitable in Fantasy Life i, buthe’s unmissable, to boot.
Early-ish in the main story, a character will become trapped behind a boulder. Who better to smash that giant rock than Duglas?The story will send you to find him, and once you’ve done so, not only does he help you to rescue that poor fellow, but he joins your island and becomes a Buddy!
3Odin
Like Laura,Odinis a Paladin in Fantasy Life i. Al Maajik’s Captain of the Maajiknights is stuck as a Strangeling now. His is theBlack Knight’s Sword.
Get the Black Knight’s Sword asSker’ri Shrine, situated within theViridia Plateau. to complete the puzzle here,you must have a Mining stat of at least 650, so it may take you a while before Odin joins you. It’s worth the wait!
2Demiel
An Alchemist,Demielactuallyoriginatedin Fantasy Life Online, so there’s no version of her in the first game. A love consultant, she works now in service of helping the player’s own Alchemy during Fantasy Life i’s crafting process. She’s also pretty funny.
We never got to play Fantasy Line Online, and honestly, how many of us everdid, so there’s not much else we can say about this one. Still, great to have her back.
1Isaac
Our favorite Angler,Isaac, is here in the latest game. His Strangeling is theAngler’s Hood, the prize for finishingFan’ni Shrinein Ginormosia’sSouth Greatgut Plains.
Isaac’s a common face in Fantasy Life’s brand-based marketing. Frankly, it would have been rather surprising if hewasn’tin Fantasy Life i. Thankfully, Level-5 didn’t miss the chance to carry his rod forth into a bold new world.
