TheSandsea Prallayacomes with the Offensive Guard skill that boosts your attack after perfectly blocking a monster’s attack. Pair that with this weapon’s attacking prowess, and you get a deadly combination of offense and defense.

This lance is perfectly suited for you if you plan to take on any monsters that are weak to the Water element. While its attack isn’t as high, the ten percent affinity makes sure you can land a few critical hits to make up for it.

7Shining Pillar

TheShining Pillaris an offensive powerhouse that’s going to ensure the target of your hunt stays down. The Critical Element skill, paired with its fairly high Fire damage, makes it a great weapon against monsters that are weak to fire.

Additionally, the Master’s Touch skill ensures that the weapon doesn’t lose its sharpness at times after executing a successful attack. If you’re tired of having your weapons lose their sharpness after a few attacks, this lance is going to keep you happy.

6Lala Aviculari

TheLala Aviculariis the best lance that you can use against any nimble monster. It can inflict paralysis on your target, and to make things better, its skills make up for its slightly low attack. The Critical Draw skill gives you a high critical chance while executing draw attacks, and the Critical Status skill increases the chances of inflicting your target with a status effect.

The two skills, when combined, pose a great threat to any enemy on your path. This lance also serves as a great secondary weapon to inflict the status effect on monsters, and once the monster is down, you can switch to your main weapon to dish out all the damage.

TheSpear of Prominenceis made from the materials ofRathalos, and, as such, offers exceptionally high fire damage. While the affinity of this weapon is ten percent, the Critical Boost skill makes sure any counter hits that you’re able to land hurt your target considerably.

The Spear of Prominence should be your go-to weapon if you’re planning to fight against any monsters that are weak to fire, and even if they’re not, this weapon hits hard enough to make it hurt for them.

Bequeathed Regretis an all-purpose lance with incredibly high Dragon elemental damage. Any perfectly timed block is going to increase your attack power even more, thanks to the Offensive Guard skill, and pair that with all the damage this weapon can do, and your Hunts will end much more quickly.

Furthermore, the lance offers a great balance of attack and affinity, making sure you’re also landing critical hits alongside doing consistently high damage to any monster that’s unfortunate enough to cross your path.

3Gravios Lance

Gravios Lanceis an excellent lance if you wish to focus on defense. The weapon provides a 30 Defense Bonus, which will be active as long as you’ve equipped the weapon. Furthermore, the Guard Up skill ensures that you can easily tank the toughest of strikes with ease.

Gravios Lance should be your weapon of choice if you want to face everything head-on. Regardless of the weapon’s defensive capabilities, it hits incredibly hard with its exceptionally high attack, which is the highest among all the lances. However, this lance does suffer from -15 affinity, which is going to affect your critical hits.

2Purifying Beaumains

ThePurifying Beaumainsis made from materials ofAkrveld, the main antagonist of the game and one of the most powerful monsters that you can encounter in the game. This weapon offers zero Affinity but makes up for it with its high attack power and elemental damage.

Furthermore, the Guard skills allow the Hunter to block most attacks with the shield without losing too much stamina, making it an excellent defensive option as well. Gathering the items to craft this lance can be quite a challenge.

1Fieberschild

Fieberschildis the best lance in the game because of how balanced and cool it is. It provides a decent attack, but its Affinity is exceptionally high and makes sure that you’re landing frequent critical hits on your target. Additionally, the Critical Element skill enhances the elemental damage on critical hits, making it a deadly offensive weapon.

The Dragon Element goes well against any type of enemy, which is also the reason some of the best lances in the game all deal the Dragon Elemental damage. If you’ve forged this weapon, then it will not disappoint you against any monster that stands in your path.
