Vitality is one of the most important stats inKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, drastically affecting your survivability both in combat and outside of it. It mostly affects your stamina consumption and recovery rate during both sprinting and combat, letting you run and fight for longer.

It also affects your resistance to enemy attacks, as well as the amount of health, energy, and nourishment recovered from eating food and sleeping in beds. With these perks in mind, you should have a far easier time with the game’s various systems.

8Ascetic

Ascetic is probably the first perk you’ll unlock in the Vitality skill tree, since it has the lowest requirement, thankfully. This perk decreases your nourishment drain rate by 30 percent, making your dependence on consuming food to keep up your health and energy far lower, letting you focus more on other aspects of the game.

You can also combine thiswith the hidden perk, Steak Tartare, which lets you eat both raw and rotten meat without the fear of food poisoning, making it so much easier to manage the nourishment stat.

7Red Mist

Red Mist gives you a solid fighting chance during combat when you’re at critical health (lower than 25 health) by giving you a +3 bonus to both Strength and Agility.

That’s good enough as it is, but on top of a hefty stat bonus, it also increases your stamina regeneration rate by four times, letting you perform considerably more attacks and blocks and making you rather overpowered as long as your health remains below 25 points during combat.

6Balanced Diet

The Balanced Diet perk is more suitable for a hardcore player who is extremely aware and considerate of the game’s mechanics, such as eating and drinking only the right amount of food without overstuffing or starving yourself.

If you do manage to do this, though, the rewards are some of the best in the game thanks to this perk. Not only will you get a permanent 20 percent faster recovery speed to your Stamina, but you will also get ten percent more experience in the Vitality stat, as long as this perk is active.

If you do overeat, though, it resets the perk, and you will once again have to be really careful with your consumption for three in-game days to activate it again.

5Next To Godliness And Well-Dressed

Although these are two different perks, they have overlapping effects and are most viable when both are unlocked. Next to Godliness heals a minimal ten points of your health whenever you wash yourself either in a tub or a bathhouse, and also heals your health 25 percent quicker when you go to sleep when cleaned up. This means that you don’t need to sleep for as long to fully heal yourself anymore.

Well-Dressed, on the other hand, prevents your body and clothes from getting dirtier by a 20 percent reduction. It also helps you get rid of all dirt from your body merely by using a tub, skipping the need to go to a bathhouse.

4Marathon Runner

Marathon Runner makes a pretty big difference to your stamina consumption, letting you sprint for a lot longer by reducing stamina consumption by a sizeable 20 percent. It might seem like a small number, but it’s not, and the difference with this perk is pretty noticeable.

If that’s not enough, the Ranger Run perk from the Agility stat recovers all of your stamina once you stop after 10 seconds of continuous sprinting, making it the single most important perk for sprinting without worrying as much about stamina loss.

And of course, there’s the Hermes’ Haste perk that increases your sprinting speed by a noticeable 20 percent.

3Creative Soul

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, energy is one of the most important stats to take care of. Normally, it can only be replenished by sleeping. The Creative Soul perk changes this by allowing you to replenish this stat by performing common activities such as alchemy, sharpening your weapons, blacksmithing, and playing dice.

Playing dice, especially, is a common mini-game that you can absolutely get lost in, and this excessively decreases your dependence on having to regularly find a bed to sleep on, making this one of thebest perks in the game.

2Never Surrender

The Never Surrender perk gives you a hefty 25-point bonus to your armor when your health drops to a critical condition of below 25 points during combat, strongly increasing your chances of survival. This lasts as long as the combat scenario, or if you regenerate your health by consuming a Marigold Decoction.

You shouldcombine this with another perk, Diehard, which quite literally saves you from death by preventing an enemy attack from killing you, which otherwise most definitely would.

Diehard has a lengthy cooldown of two minutes, meaning this will usually be triggered only once during most combat encounters.

1Revenant 2

Both of the Revenant perks are not only the best perks in the Vitality skill tree, but the absolute best perks in the entire game. The first part of this perk automatically recovers your health to 50 percent of your total health, while the second part pushes it further to 75 percent as long as you’re neither in combat nor bleeding.

The only way to recover your health quickly in the game, besides finding a bed and spending several hours asleep, is to consume a Marigold Decoction. This perk exceptionally improves this aspect of the game, feeling almost like a quality-of-life change rather than a mere perk.
