We recently learned thatwe may have to wait anywhere between one to five years for Elder Scrolls 6. What’s a fan supposed to do until then? Kill another fan over and over again, of course. One Oblivion player is on a mission to kill The Adoring Fan in innovative ways untilSkyblivionlaunches.
You may think that YouTuberPuppyZauruswould have given The Adoring Fan a break now thatOblivion Remasteredis out, however, they’ve just decided to do the same thing in the remaster. The latest video they’ve uploaded is the 1,143sd time that they’ve offed the poor fan, and it looks like they’re not going to stop anytime soon.
A Fan Of Death
If you head over to PuppyZaurus’s YouTupe page, you’ll find that they have killed The Adoring Fan in a number of unique ways (thanks,VG247). It’s not just in the original Oblivion too, there are videos of him being killed in a modded version of Skyrim too. Unfortunately, the release of Oblivion Remastered isn’t enough, as they only bought the game to continue killing the fan.
As for when Skyblivion will launch, the fan project that aims to recreateOblivioninSkyrimis set to launch some time this year. However, there is no concrete date. There were fears that the project may have had to shut down with Bethesda putting out the remaster, but the studio not only encouraged them, butgave the whole team codes for Oblivion Remastered.
Oblivion Remastered has been an absolute success, even though the shadowdrop was spoiled by constant leaks. Players are absolutely blown away by the upgraded visuals, but are also glad that some ofthe charming jank and bloopers have been left in the game. Bethesdawanted us to play the game exactly how we remember it, and these glitches were a big part of it.
