If you’ve played a Survival Crafting game likeRunescape: Dragonwildsbefore, you likely already know how important it is to get a pickaxe and farm yourself a bunch of ore. These are the main resources that you need to upgrade the tier of your gear in the game, starting from stone and ending at gold.
Tin ore will help you create the second tier of equipment, which will let you challenge level three enemies with ease. It’s one of the requirements for creating Bronze Bars, and you’ll need a ton of them if you want to make any real progress.

Where To Find Tin Ore
The map of Runescape: Dragonwilds is divided into multiple biomes, and each biome has its special ore and other materials.To get Tin Ore, you’ll have to reach the Fractured Plains biome, which also introduces you to a new type of enemy while increasing their level to three. This is the fourth area in the game, whichyou’ll enter after completing the vault in Whispering Swamp.
You can find many Tin Ore deposits scattered around this biome. These canbe identified as circular piles of rock with green ore deposits on them. When you get close, you can either use the Rocksplosion ability or a Bone Pickaxe or above to mine it. Once a node is depleted, the ore spawns back after a while.
You’ll constantly have to battle high-tier enemies while going around Fractured Plains, andwolves can specifically be a big problem.
To counter this, it’s recommended toget yourself a few Tin Ore and craft bronze-tier equipmentbefore farming it in bulk.
Since the Fractured Plains biome is the biggest, it’s also recommended totake the resources for a bunch of Lodestones with youso that you canplace them in various locationsand make Tin farming easier for yourself.

While Tin ore is scattered all around Fractured Plains and can be found everywhere, there are a few places you can visit to get a bunch of it in little time. Here are a few such places:

Since there are a lot of deposits, you’ll have a much easier timecleaning them out if you’re playing with friends.
While you can find some Tin ore in Stormtouched Highlands as well, there are very few deposits here since most of it is covered with Iron,making it much better to farm Fractured Plains instead.
