All Unique Weapons And Gear Locations
Unique items are significantlystronger than other item types,and they are not easy to obtain or find. They are found in a special chest, and when opening them, Rook uses a special animation with the Lyrium Dagger, and the frame of these items is red. Unlike other items,unique gear cannot be upgraded, but they can be enchanted.
There are a total of 33 unique items in the game. Some can be obtained in the late game; some are sold by merchants of certain factions, while others become available after completing specific quests. The table below shows where to find all the unique items.

This unique item is missable. DuringHarding’s companion quest, ‘The Waiting Stone’,you’re able to find this unique item. After taking the elevator down to the Kal-Sharok Outpost area, butbefore meeting Stalgard, head to the right.Before crossing the wooden platform leading to the large gate, look around—you’llfind a ladder that doesn’t appear on your map.Climb down, then descend the spiral wooden platform to discover this hidden chest.

Paragon’s Silent Gaze
This unique item is missable. You will find it duringHarding’s companion quest, ‘The Heart of the Titan’. After rescuing the first dwarf, cross the rails toreach an area called the Ancient Mining Site.Climb the ladder and,before advancing on the broken bridge, look to your left—you will see a brazier. Jump to it, cross the log to the next brazier,squeeze through the gap in the wall, and turn left to find the chest.

This unique item is missable. To find it, you must locate it duringEmmrich’s companion quest, ‘Sacrifice of Souls’. When youreach the Secret Passagearea in Blackthorne Manor, you’ll enter a room with switches. Interact with the hidden wall on the left side of the room, andManfred will move to the other sideto open it for you. Instead of using the elevator,take the corridor on the right side of the room to find the chest.

To find this unique item,start by teleporting to the northeastern beacon in Arlathan Forest, located in the Waterfront Glades area. From there, head south to the ruined building and use the beam device,directing the beam toward the metal structure above.This will activate another device positioned higher up.
Move in a circle around the area to reach the newly activated device andredirect its beam to the right, aiming at the metal object to the left of the first device.Jump down and approach the now-active device, then redirect its beamtoward the metal object above the pillar on the islandwhere the chest is located.
Next, head to the upper section above the beacon andactivate the switch by the door.Once the door opens, cross the log bridge to reach the cliff.Remove the power source next to the magic barrier, causing it to disappear. Place the power source near the broken beam device beyond the barrier to restore its function, thendirect the beam at the metal object on the pillar ahead.
Now,use the teleportation device southeast of the beaconand redirect its beam to the metal object on the treasure island. Finally,take the power source near the two statues next to the beacon, place it by the broken beam device, andalign the beam with the metal object on the island.With the bridge now formed, head southwest of the beacon to reach the treasure island.Defeat the Guardian of Secrets, then open the chest to claim your reward.

Aftercompleting the ‘Gate of Faded Glories’ quest, you’ll unlock thenorthern part of Arlathan Forest.Teleport to the beacon in this area and head to the Tainted Forest. Once you arrive, go through the left passage and enter the large structure ahead. Defeat the enemies and destroy the blight cysts inside. Then,climb the ladder in the corner of the building. After reaching the upper level, eliminate the final blight cyst, and you’ll find the treasure.

To find this chest, you must complete certain quests in Treviso. Teleport to thebeacon in the Streets of Coin Financialsarea.Head east, then climb the vine-covered wooden structureon the balcony. Next, climb the ladder. At the top,climb onto the crates to the southeast, jump to the opposite balcony, then head right and enter the building through the window. Inside,interact with the bookshelfto reveal the chest’s location.

Afterteleporting to the Heart and Central beaconin Treviso,head east, then go north to reach the Dellamorte Estates.Your goal here is to solve the puzzle. Use your Lyrium Dagger on Veil Instabilities toreveal pointing statues, then rotate the other statues to match their direction.Next,activate the switches on the sarcophagus-like structuresin the center. Interact with the Veil Instability near the elevated gate to access the next switch and unlock the sealed door. Finally, interact with the Veil Instability in front of the door, rotate the statue beyond it, and you will reach the chest.

You need todefeat ten waves of enemies by speaking with Isabelain The Hall of Valor. Once you defeat the final wave,‘The Hall of Valor’ questwill be completed, and you will receive this unique item.
Maw of the Black City
Take the leftmost boat at Crossroads to reach Heights of Athim. After arriving at the snowy clearing,head left and climb the ladder inside the cabin.Continue up the wooden stairs, defeat the enemies, and climb further to reach the brazier. Ascend the next set of stairs to another snowy clearing, where you’llfind a blighted tree.To purge the blight, you mustdefeat 50 Darkspawn—you can farm them in Crossroads. Once the blight is removed, the chest behind the tree will be revealed.
The Burden
To obtain this unique item, you mustcomplete the ‘Gate of Deep Sorrows’ quest, which is linked to the ‘Heart of Corruption’ quest in Crossroads. After defeating the boss Betrayal of Fellasan, you will find the chest containing this item in the area where the boss was located.

To obtain this unique item, you mustcomplete the ‘Gate of Parched Hope’ quest, which is linked to the ‘Heart of Corruption’ quest in Crossroads. After defeating the boss Slaughters of the Pillars, you will find the chest containing this item above the stairs on the left side of the area where the boss was located.
