Summary

Assassin’s Creed Shadowshas been one of the most prominent targets of ‘anti-woke’ crowds online. So, it was no surprise when it was reported thatUbisoft had plans in place to defend its employees, reportedly extending to “psychological and legal support” for anyonecaught up in an online hate campaign.

Now, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has launched, and the conversation ismuch more positive. While there are still vocal groups online complaining about perceived ‘wokeness’ in the game, it’s largely drowned out by the praise, something which the devs are thankful for.
