Summary
Ubisofthas finally spilled the beans on the first major update forAssassin’s Creed Shadows, which is set to release on Tuesday acrossPlayStation,XboxandPC. The update comes about two weeksafter the game’s initial launch, one thatsaw a record number of players, as well asmassive sales.
Specifically, the update will implement some of the most highly-requested featuresby players, whilealso working to fix a major issue with the game’s hideout mechanic.

It’s Time To Get Rid Of All That Extra Loot
Most notably, beginning Tuesday, players will now be able to tag and sell or dismantle multiple items from their inventory. Previously, players were stuck with having to sell items one-by-one,with some finding the issue so bothersome that they refused to sell.
Not only that, but the update will also implement the “auto-follow” feature, which will let your horse take you from Point A to Point B without any player input. It’s a rather staple feature of the current iterations of the franchise that was oddly absent at launch.

Elsewhere, console players will no longer have to worry about the Hideout dropping frames and chugging. It’ll now be uncapped, according to the update notes, making the experience more in line with the PC version.
Finally, among the major updates, players will be able to reset Mastery Nodes to test different playstyles for either Naoe or Yasuke. That should go a long way in letting players experience the different gameplay elements of the title. The rest of the notes, which can be found here, are worth a read ahead of Tuesday’s drop.
