Summary
Astro BotisPlayStation’s platforming mascot now, and he has the Nendoroid to prove it. The trouble is, the little bot has become so popular that his Nendoroid is hard, often close to impossible to find. It’s back in stock right now though, but you’ll need to be quick if you want one.
Astro’s Nendoroid was re-released in September 2024to celebrate the launch of Astro Bot onPS5. That restock predictably sold out very quickly which meant Astro fans waiting for it but who weren’t paying attention at the exact right time had to go back to hoping they could find them on resale sites.

If you’re reading this too late, there are a lot of Astro Bot Nendorids on eBay, but you’ll have to pay over the odds for them.
If you’ve been resisting resale sites, waiting for the Nendoroid to be restocked even though there are no big Astro Bot announcements on the horizon (at least not that we know of), you have been rewarded. The collectible has been restocked at both the Big Bad Toy Store, and you can also pick it up from the source, the Good Smile Company, while stocks last.
Astro Bot’s Nendoroid Is Back
Don’t Dawdle If You’ve Been Waiting For It, This Could Be Your Last Chance
The prices are more or less the same from both stores, although they do differ ever so slightly. You’ll save yourself a few dollars if you do find it in stockat Good Smile since it’s $51.99, but it isn’t much moreat BBTS where it costs $54.99. The figure is more than just a detailed recreation of Astro Bot once complete too as, like many other Nendoroids, it comes with additional pieces.
The Nendoroid comes with three interchangeable faceplates so that you can alter Astro’s mood. There’s the regular plate with Astro’s normal round eyes, a second that makes the mascot look happy, and a third if you want your figure to look dizzy. Other extras include one of the big coins you have to collect in Astro Bot, a fuse like the ones he uses to make things explode, and laser feet attachments to the Nendoroid looks like it’s jumping up into the air.
What exactly the future holds for Astro Bot on the video game front remains unclear, although it’s only been eight months since the launch of its 2024 Game of the Year, so that’s to be expected. Team Asobi has continued to support Astro Bot via free DLC, and after Nicolas Doucet hinted atFinal Fantasy characters still being a part of the game some day, there might still be more additional levels and bots to come.
Nendoroid Astro Bot
Astro Bot’s Nendoroid comes with three faceplates and other accessories, including a coin, a fuse top, and laser feet. That can be combined with the stand the figure comes with to make it look like the Nendoroid is hovering.
