Management games are a fun and time-consuming way to spend your time. There is always something you want to add or build; or maybe, you just want to watch your customers mill around. If you are looking for a management game filled with cute animals taking baths, thenAnimal Spais the game for you!
In this guide, we’ll take a look at some beginner tips to help you get started with Animal Spa. This will help you get your spa set up and running efficiently. Additionally, we’ll provide some tips if you are brand new to this type of game, where the game window only takes up the bottom portion of your screen.

Invest In Operating Facilities Items
There are five main object/decoration categories, with the icon of a pencil and paper being theOperating Facilities. At the start of the game, you’ll just have a few unlocked, but as you keep playing and get new medals, you’ll be able to place more of these facilities. We highly recommend doing so, as they canboost your efficiency and make the spa run smoother.
For example, with the Staff Training Room item, you can invest your stars into upgrades for your staff. If you don’t have a lot of staff to begin with, this can prove to be incredibly helpful. We personally like theupgrade that prevents floors from becoming wet again after cleaning for longer.

Using Flooring To Separate Areas
There are no walls in Animal Spa, which means that each floor you have is basically just a long room. Thankfully, there are a lot offlooring options that can serve as ‘room’ sections. For example, you can havehallways made with wooden flooring, and then areas with baths on tile or stone flooring.
When you unlock items like showers and sinks, you may use adifferent-colored tile to make a ‘bathroom’.We also used a darker flooring to make a staff area, where we placed things like the Staff Training Room, Staff Hat Management Locker, and the Operation Desk.

Place Frequent Towel Racks
Guests are constantlygetting wet and dripping water around. This dripping will turn into puddles, andother guests can slip in them.Although you’re able to unlock acodex recordfor the beaver by watching guests slip 1,000 times, you don’t want to have your guests slipping too much.
To prevent this,we suggest placing Towel Racks near your baths.Be sure to place the Towel Collection Bin nearby, as this will let guests return used towels. you’re able to alsochange the color of towels, which guests will place on their heads.

When you unlock a bunch of food stalls, it may be tempting to place them all down at the same spot. It’s a good idea tospread out your amenitiesthough. Rather than having a floor entirely of food and drink stalls, mix in some baths and other amenity types.
This will let guests travel around andhave all of the things they like nearby. It can also help your spa look a bit more bustling.

You can set the entrance fee from the Operation Desk.A higher fee means fewer guests, and a lower fee means more guests. You can also use this tomanage the number of guests present.
Create Themed Areas
This tip goes hand in hand with using flooring to create separate areas. There are a lot of item types that you can place down, and it may be overwhelming if you just have one floor. Instead of cramming everything into one floor, consider themes for certain areas.
For example, the first floor could hold simple wooden baths and a small vending machine area, while the second floor could focus on larger baths and bathroom amenities. Some of the food stalls are quite big compared to the others (like the Street Food Cart), soyou can make a special food vendor area.

Inspect Guest Interests
Each guest has their own interests, and you can check them out by clicking on them. This will display theirideal bath temperature, as well as what food or drinks they may like. Not all guests have dislikes, butif they do dislike something, it will also be displayed.
You’ll also be able tosee what the guest is doing, as well as what they own.At places like the Bath Supplies Shop, guests can buy supplies to use in the bath, as well as when they are leaving. Overall, it’s a good idea to look at guest interests;you may need to make more baths of a certain temperature, or add a new food stall.

Can’t tell staff apart from guests?Give them some uniforms(in the form of a hat) to tell which little guys are your staff members.
Click On Guest Interactions
Every once in a while, your guests will interact with each other. When this happens,a white box will appear above them.By clicking on this, you can read a short conversation and then get a star.
These stars can then be used to hire/upgrade staff or place certain items. One star isn’t much, butif you click on every conversation that you see, the stars will start to build up.

Set Worker Priority
When hired, a worker will do everything on every floor of the spa. Rather than having a staff free-for-all,assign them to a floor and choose a priority. For example, if you have two floors and four staff members, assign two to each floor.
You can take it a step further and make one of them clean puddles and another focus on restocks. This willhelp keep your spa clean and filled with amenities for your guests to use.

If a staff member works at the Bath Supplies Shop, they won’t be able to do anything else. This is theirpermanent position, unless you move them elsewhere.
Increase Bath Sizes
Default baths are relatively small, but didyou know that you can increase their size? This will cost some money, but you’ll be able toincrease the bath size to either medium or large(small is the default size).
As expected, this will take up more room, butmore guests will be able to relax in these baths. This is alsoa great way to fill up space if you don’t want to just cram three baths into an area.Instead, just opt for a giant one!

You can place decorations on a bath, butonly medium and large baths can have items floating inside them. This includes simple things like bubbles, as well as baskets of food. You can also add ‘flavor’ pouches to the water;if a guest likes the temperature and pouch, hearts will appear above their head.
Leave The Spa Running
Last but not least, leave the spa running and do something else!Animal Spa is an idle game thatdoesn’t require constant attention,so you can keep it running on the bottom of your screen and do something else. Occasionally, you’ll need to help out the spa, butthere is really no downside to leaving it be.
This is also agreat way to earn more money. If you are saving up for something, just leave the spa running for a bit andcheck on it periodically.
