Dandy’s Worldis one of the best multiplayer survival horror games onRoblox. Your goal is to survive as long as possible by passing through different levels of the elevator, repairing machines, and collecting Ichor to buy and upgrade characters, trinkets and different skins.
Although its gameplay seems easy, there are different aspects that can make progression difficult if not well understood. Mechanics such as extraction, distraction, study of twisteds and ichor management are processes that are learned progressively and can become complicated if not understood.
Don’t Waste Ichor - Plan Your Purchases
During your matches in Dandy’s World,you will find a black viscous substance called Ichor, which is the main currency in the game and allows you to buy different things in the store. There is also a secondary currency available in matches, Tapes. These can be used in the in-game store to purchase from Dandy (the flower vendor that appears in the elevator).

Since Tapes reset after each match, while Ichor is permanent, it is very important not to waste them. Earning them takes time, and you will lose valuable progress if you don’t plan your purchases wisely.
Buy Rodger First
After collecting enough Ichor, you will want to buy different Toons to explore new playing styles, but you will need to do so strategically.One of the first possible purchases is Finn, a cheap and fast character that benefits you by providing greater mobility and map control for each repaired generator. However, it is highly recommended to obtain Rodger early on to start unlocking characters quickly.
To unlock Rodger you must meet two main requirements:
Rodger is quite a slow character. His only advantages are a faster extraction speed (repairing the machines on each floor), and his double Twisteds research capacity.
Research With Rodger To Unlock More Rewards
Dandy’s World features a mechanic called Twisted Research, which allows you to unlock new characters and trinkets by investigating different Twisteds.
Normally, on each floor you will findtwo research capsulesfor every Twisted present on the map, which give youone percent researchon the character. If you start a chase with the Twisted present, it will give youfive percent research, allowing you to get a total of seven percent research for each floor.
The more floors you advance,the more Twisteds will appearand the probability of getting better characters.
If you have Rodger equipped, the research will be doubled, receiving two percent for each research capsule you collect and ten percent for a chase initiated with the Twisted, allowing you to obtain a total of 14 percent research per floor for each Twisted present.
Rodger allows you to gain up to 14 percent research per floor, significantly accelerating character unlocks.
Equip The Best Trinkets To Survive Longer
In the game, it is essential to be aware of your character’s strengths and weaknesses. Characters like Rodger are too slow and difficult to play alone, but they give you certain advantages, such as the increased research capacity that he offers. Therefore, it is very important to know how to build your characters and decide the best trinkets for each team and character.
The trinkets in Dandy’s World are different equipment items that provide strategic advantages. Choosing the right trinket for your character and team can make a huge difference in your survival.
If you go with a slow character, you will need to equip mobility trinkets or stealth trinkets if you go with a strong team. Trinkets like the poppy lasso or the glisten mirror are a great example, as they allow you to be more mobile and not get caught by faster Twisteds or be taken by surprise by patrolling Twisteds. On the other hand, if you go with fast Toons, you can prioritize different repair trinkets, or distraction trinkets, instead of focusing entirely on mobility.
Knowing how to build your character with the right trinkets is key to surviving longer.
Play As A Team To Progress Faster
Dandy’s World allows up to eight players per match, each choosing their own Toon and trinkets.Playing in a team is one of the fastest ways to progress, as you can divide tasks, assist each other, repair faster, and distract Twisteds. The community in Dandy’s World usually divides the task into two fundamental groups:
Focus on finding and repairing machines as fast as possible
Distractors
Keep the Twisteds busy by using fast Toons with lower stealth to prevent chases on slower extractors.
Teamwork is essential to reaching higher floors, where rarer and more dangerous Twisteds appear. The best thing to do is to make teams, look for alliances and balance different characters for each run with friends or strangers.
Manage Your Health And Stamina On Each Floor
In the game, you will have three lives (depending on each Toon the number may vary). The lives are independent of each floor. When you run out of lives, the game will end, so it is essential to take care of yourself as much as possible and avoid losing a life to being hit by a Toon.
For this, we have stamina, a stamina bar that is consumed when running and slowly filled when walking. Its filling is quite slow, soit is important to manage the stamina strategically in order not to lose hearts unnecessarily.
When starting on a new floor, do not run out of the elevator without any sense, recognize the terrain quickly.If you go as Rodger or a slow character, look for where the research capsules and machines are to get down to work, while if you play as a distractor, try to find the Twisted quickly and get them away from your teammates. Manage your stamina, and do not run if there is no need.
