10Curious Family
They’re Out Of This World
Time for a very curious family indeed. The Curious brothers - scientists Pascal, Vidcund, and Laszlo, are residents of Strangevill, and there are few stranger than them. As you open their household, you will find Pascal in a very ‘interesting condition’, and Vidcund on the verge of abduction.
After a few minutes of playing,an alien Simwill be born, and the adventures in galactic parenting starts. The Curious clan is a sci-fi slice of life household filled with love, laughter, and alien conspiracies. If you’d like to play in a shockingly wholesome house, stop by 2 Cover Up Road and search for the stars.
9Broke Family
Going For Broke
While havinglots of money is great, some Simmers prefer a more realistic style. If you want to play in a house with a lot of heart but little funds, the Broke Family awaits you. The Brokes are a family in turmoil - Brandy’s husband has died, she has two sons to raise, one is a criminal, and she has a baby on the way.
The household is as broke (hah) as a joke with barely enough money to pay for food, let alone their bills. The Brokes are currently at the whims of fate - will you help this struggling family, or seal their doom?
8Specter Family
A Grim Affair
If you’re looking for a household with a challenging house, this is the one for you. Olive Specter and her niece, Ophelia, dwell in a haunted mansion at the edge of town. Olive has been married countless times, and all of them have ended up buried in her own personal graveyard - alongside other unfortunates.
Whether or not Olive has caused their deaths is unknown, but what we do know is that the spirits are here - and they’re not happy. These ghosts will terrorize the lot, causing weeds and puddles wherever they go. Add in the family drama between Olive and Ophelia, as well as Ophelia’s own personal problems, and you have a house and household haunted by literal and emotional ghosts.
7Goth Family
The First Family Of SimNation
The Goth family is at the heart of Pleasantview for better and for worse. With Cassandra’s interest in the lecherous Don Lothario and Mortimer’s affair with the dangerous Dina Caliente, this household is filled with drama and intrigue. Add in the mysterious disappearance of Bella Goth, and you have a recipe for drama.
If you marry Cassandra to Don, Dina will be jealous but if you break them up, Cassandra will be heartbroken. In the Goth family there are plenty of ties that bind - and all of them are liable to snap at any given moment. No matter what you choose, they’re a blast to play.
6Pleasant Family
Keeping Up With The Pleasants
All aboard the Hot Mess express - next stop: the Pleasant family. Twins Lilith and Angela Pleasant are at each others throats day and night. All the while, workaholic Mary-Sue seems unaware that her husband Daniel has a wandering eye.
This family is notable for having a ‘scripted’ event where Mary-Sue comes home from being fired to catch her husband Woohoo-ing with the maid. This immediately sets off a chain of chaos that will likely destroy the household. Whether you embrace the destruction or work to rebuild this family from the ashes, the Pleasants are a wonderful challenge.
5Caliente Family

Is it hot in here, or is it just the Caliente sisters? The Caliente family is one of the most dramatic and dynamic houses you can play in Pleasantview. Professional gold digger Dina has set her eyes on Mortimer Goth while seductive sweetheart Nina has her eyes on… well, everyone.
The Calientes are delightfully vicious while also having moments of kindness that make them compelling. (They’re close to being friends with Brandi Broke.) Their strong personalities, plus their relationships, make the Calientes one of the best families to explore.
The Caliente sisters are part alien. Might they have had a connection to Bella’s disappearance?
4Lothario Family
The Don Juan
If you’re looking for chaos and romance, you’ve found him, baby. Don Lothario is one of the most infamous Sims in Pleasantview. Famed for his charm and lack of morals, Don has most of the women of the town eating out of the palm of his hand.
His affairs with Cassandra Goth, NinaandDina Caliente, and Kaylynn Langerak have placed him right at the heart of all the drama, and he’s ready to exploit those hearts for all he can. Don is a major lore character, which makes playing him a blast and helps at explaining the hot mess that is Pleasantview.
3Tri-Var Sorority

College life is a wild time for everyone, and Sims are no exception. If you’re looking for a dramatic, catty, and wild time, the girls at Tri-Var Sorority are the perfect group to pledge with. The head of the chapter, Tiffany Sampson, is just trying to keep the sorority going, but wild child Heather Huffington and queen bee Brittany Upsnott plague her at every turn.
Playing this household feels like a true mean girls experience. The Tri-Var can turn around with help, but do they really want to? Sometimes its good to be bad. Dive into the Tri-Var Sorority and summon your inner Heathers.
2Una Family

Natasha Una is unique among Sims. Can you tell what it is? Spoiler alert: It’s her aspiration! Nastasha is the only pre-made Sim to have the famous Grilled Cheese aspiration. This aspiration is only available through secondary aspirations or a failure with the ReNuYuSenso Orb object, so if you’re curious at all, Natasha is your gal.
Natasha is a pretty friendly girl, even though she has no connections at the start of her save. She is easy to set up with other Sims… as long as they accept her true love is grilled cheese. Natasha is a great choice for those who want to play something unique, those who want to start out single, and for fans of sandwiches everywhere.
1Beaker Family
For Science. You Monster
If you’re looking for a more evil playthrough, look no further - the Beaker family will have everything you need, and then some. The villanous mad scientists Circe and Loki have taken up residence in Strangetown, and with them lives their tortured test subject, Nervous Subject.
These two are a delightfully evil couple who love to torment anyone they come across. This allows you to cause problems on purpose, which can be just as fun. For those who want to serve up some justice, you can reform Nervous Subject’s life. If all else fails, you could always get Nervous’s biological father involved.
