Summary
One of the most underplayed team compositions inMarvel Rivalsis known as the brawl comp. Unlike other team compositions, the brawl comp is all about survival, keeping a tight formation, and outputting a lot of melee damage. This is uncommon in a lot of other hero shooters, due to rosters generally lacking melee heroes.
This is not the case however with Marvel Rivals, which boasts an impressive assortment of melee fighters. So, if you’re looking to get up close and personal, brawl might be the best tactic for you and your team. Here are the best brawl comps to play in Marvel Rivals.

Strategists
Cloak & Dagger, Rocket Raccoon
Brawl compositions are often filled with triple-tank metas, and this first option is no exception. Groot, Thor, and The Thing all work great in a variety of brawl compositions thanks to their excellent close-range damage and sustainability. Plus, both Groot and the Thing’s ults work great with Moon Knight’s.
Rocket’s team-up ability works great in brawl comps, providing Groot with extra damage resistance, as well as himself. Cloak & Dagger’s Veil of Lightforce is great in brawl comps if she can manage to get multiple heroes in it at once, thus helping their sustainability.

Luna Snow, Invisible Woman
Captain America, Thor, and Storm have a great synergy thanks to theirteam-up ability. While Storm isn’t technically a brawl hero, adding her to this comp is helpful to Cap and Thor, who can really benefit from the extra damage. Add Magik to the mix, combined with Luna’s Idol Aura, and you’ve got a strong team already.
Adding the Invisible Woman helps even more thanks to her ability to ward off areas with her Psionic Vortex. Plus, since both she and Magik can push and pull players around the map, this brawl comp breaks up enemy teams and sustains itself across long fights and encounters.

Cloak & Dagger, Invisible Woman
Because Venom grants a symbiotic team-up ability that inflicts melee damage for both Peni Parker and Spider-Man, he makes a great addition to this brawl comp. Plus, Venom himself is great in close range, thanks to his abilities that prevent enemies from running away.
Wolverine can capitalize on this as well by trapping enemy tanks and pushing them out of position. Cloak & Dagger and Invisible Woman are just both great brawl strategists, and have the flexibility to keep Spider-Man and Venom alive even when far away.

Adam Warlock, Mantis
Combining Doctor Strange and The Hulk as vanguards is always a great move thanks to their Gamma Charge team-up ability. This helps make Doctor Strange’s dark magic ability even more potent. Bring in a few of the Guardians of the Galaxy to help round out this comp.
Though Adam is typically better on poke comps, because he can help revive Mantis and Star-Lord, this empowers them to play more brawl-y. Mantis' ult can also save the team if their brawl is going on for too long and they’re running out of steam.

Rocket Raccoon, Luna Snow
Scarlet Witch’s team-up ability with Magneto is not to be underestimated. Providing her father with a powerful and long-lasting melee attack can really turn the tide of battle in a pinch. Plus, Wanda can freeze people in place, leaving them susceptible to brawl damage.
Add Groot and Rocket to the mix to create a self-sustaining melee duo that can stay up for a long time. Add Luna here so that you have at leastone good strategist ultto keep the team up in a pinch. Plus, you can combine Luna’s ult with Wanda’s to make sure she stays alive.

Invisible Woman, Luna Snow
The Invisible Woman provides extra damage and health to both Mister Fantastic and The Thing, as well as extra healing for herself. This empowers both The Thing and Mister Fantastic to play aggressively in a brawl scenario. Add in Iron Fist, who combos well with Luna thanks to her Idol Aura and their team-up ability, and you’ll have a nasty comp on your side.
Thor can help fill in the ranks of this composition thanks to his mobility, which The Thing andMister Fantasticlack. Plus, he can combine his brawl abilities with an occasional dive into the backline, making this a more varied comp than most.

Loki, Invisible Woman
This next brawl comp is all about incredibly potent ultimate combos that mainly revolve around joining forces with Groot. Because Groot’s ultimate traps enemies all in one place, it combos well with a ton of other hero ults in the roster. For brawl comps, this is especially powerful with Black Panther, Magik, and even The Hulk’s ultimate.
Wait until Groot pops off his ultimate, and then encourage the rest of your team to attack using their ults. This can earn you a team wipe in seconds. Use Loki and The Invisible Woman as they are great for sustaining tanks and can benefit from Hulk’s shields.

Cloak & Dagger, Luna Snow
This triple-duelist composition requires a high skill level but can work wonders when played correctly. Psylocke and Magik synergize well with each other, and Wolverine definitely packs a punch thanks to his crowd-control abilities. The only danger here is that you need Hulk to peel for both strategists.
Since all three duelists like to play on off-angles and catch backline supports by surprise, Luna and Cloak & Dagger will be left alone without Hulk’s protection. ensure you’re playing defensively while the duelists do their work.

Rocket Raccoon, Jeff the Land Shark, Luna Snow
This comp features an adorable cast of characters that can also make for really fun gameplay strategy. Jeff the Land Shark can combine nicely with Groot, keeping him alive for a long time and allowing him to play aggressively. If you’re on a domination map, definitely consider adding Peni to this mix as well to take space.
Because Jeff doesn’t have great healing output, you’ll want to have three strategists for this, which means you might be only down to one duelist. That’s why it’s helpful to have the Punisher, whose damage output is just amazingly high. Plus, with Rocket on the field, he can get infinite ammo, allowing him to help both vanguards pick off enemies.

Cloak & Dagger, Luna Snow, Invisible Woman
It’s no secret that Cloak & Dagger, Luna Snow, and Invisible Woman are all incredibly hard to kill with the right players. These supports can keep themselves and their team alive, and Cloak & Dagger and Invisible Woman can also secure a lot of elims, though they leave Luna to serve as the main healer if they play aggressively.
Combine these three strategists with Groot, who can use walls so that he’s not absorbing all the damage for the team, and Moon Knight and Iron Fist, who can play opposite flanks from one another, and you’ll soon find you can bowl over a team in seconds. For extra fun, combine Moon Knight and Iron Fist’s ults with Groot’s.
