6Ranger
Rangers can be very fun to play solo if you like kiting your enemies with traps and ranged attacks. They can shine when on the move and whittling down enemies at a distance. However, their effectiveness depends a lot on their gear, so you’ll have to spend some time acquiring the best pieces.
They do have some small self-heals and speed boosts that provide added survivability. You’ll need to manage stamina and positioning carefully, though, especially to manage tougher fights.
5Monk
Monks are excellent soloists, combining strong DPS with self-healing abilities and resource efficiency. They focus on chi-based attacks, which regenerate quickly. Feigning Death also gives you a reliable escape if things go south, making them one of the more forgiving options, too.
Monks have some tanking capabilities, but they aren’t quite as survivable as other tanking options. You’ll still need to do some careful planning and watch your cooldowns.
4Paladin
Paladins are a strong solo class due to their tankiness and ability to self-heal. They get bonuses against undead enemies, too. Their damage output is also decent, though it isn’t as high as some other options. Fights will take a bit longer as a result.
Their plate armor and durability make them much more forgiving for new players. They’re easier to learn the game with, especially when you’re playing solo. If you want survivability and steady progression, this class may be a great option, even if you do not like the slower pace.
3Dire Lord
The Dire Lord is a great mix of damage and sustainability, making them a great choice for solo play. Their lifesteal abilities are particularly good since they can heal themselves while dishing out damage. You won’t have to rely on downtime between fights like with some other classes. They also don’t use mana, so no need to wait for that to regenerate, either.
They can handle multiple enemies fairly well, but they aren’t nearly as tanky as Paladins or Warriors. They do require some skill with tougher battles, but they’re also a lot faster-paced.
2Shaman
Shamans are extremely versatile, which makes them good for solo playthroughs. They have great damage-over-time spells, several healing abilities, and a pet to assist in combat. Their mana dependence can lead to some downtime between fights, though, so you’ll have to wait for it to regenerate.
Shamans also do great at prolonged fights, which most classes struggle with. Their DoTs really shine here. That said, they do progress a bit slower in the early game compared to more straightforward classes. You’ll need to get them geared and leveled before they really start handling tougher challenges.
1Summoner
Summoners are the best solo class in Pantheon, thanks to their high level of versatility. Their pets come in many different types, so you may choose the best option for whatever role you need. Summoners can also equip gear to their pets, which makes them even stronger. Summoners are how you play Pantheon solo without playing Pantheon solo.
Their damage-dealing spells, along with buffs and utility, allow them to tackle almost any situation with ease. Unlike some classes, Summoners don’t rely heavily on gear for their own success, so you won’t have to spend time grinding for the best gear options.
