The LC10 from Cold War returns inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6. Featuring the highest range stat of its class, this SMG functions closer to an assault rifle with good handling stats than a proper SMG. It has a slow fire rate and somewhat low base damage for its class, but you’re able to easily improve its TTK through Gunsmith attachments.
With some recoil attachments and Rapid Fire, you can turn the LC10 into a powerhouse in medium engagement ranges, competing with some assault rifles. Let’s go over how to get the LC10 and cover some strong builds you can use in both Multiplayer and Zombies.

How To Unlock The LC10
The LC10 is a submachine gun available through theSeason 4 Battle Pass. You’ll find this SMG onPage 3as the final reward, requiring at least 14 tokens to unlock. If you own the Blackcell version of the Battle Pass, you’ll unlock a blueprint for the LC10 that makes it usable immediately.
Once Season 4 ends, you’ll be able to get the LC10 through theArmory unlock system.Through the Barracks tab, select “Challenges” and the “Armory” option to view all current unlockable items. If the LC10 is in there, select it to make it your current unlock challenge. Any XP you earn will then contribute towards your Armory challenge.
Pros And Cons
By default, the LC10 trades TTK potential for best-in-class range and solid handling stats. Fortunately, we can fix the weapon’s TTK with theRapid Fireattachment. This grants a massive 14% fire rate buff while equipped with only a 20% recoil nerf, which we can easily mitigate with aCompensatormuzzle. This brings the gun’s RPM up to the Saug’s level but withfarmore range.
We can buff the range stat further with aLong Barrel, bringing up the effective damage range to a whopping 26.8 meters. No other SMG gets remotely close to that much range, not even theJackal PDW. Run aQuickdraw Gripto reduce your ADS speed, and then throw on your favorite attachment in the fifth slot. We recommend aFlip Magfor faster reloads, although you might prefer a close-range optic to remove the gun’s bulky rear sights while aiming.
Loadout Recommendations
SMGs are best used with theEnforcer Specialty, as kills will trigger HP regeneration and give you a temporary movement speed buff. This synergizes nicely withSlipstream’sgeneric movement speed buff, allowing you to move at tactical sprint speeds after you land a kill. To proc the set bonus, we recommendScavengerfor ammo replenishment andHunter’s Instinctto mark a nearby target after each kill.
You don’t need to run Gunfighter for the LC10 to be good, so you’re able to safely runPerk Greedhere. We suggest usingFlak Jacketto mitigate incoming explosive damage, but you can use anything that suits your playstyle. For equipment, anything works.Stimsare solid for healing if you can’t get a kill, andTrophy Systemsare invaluable in objective-based modes like Domination and Hardpoint.
This build is an extension of the previous Multiplayer configuration. We have eight slots to work with now, so we can use the extra three slots to buff the weapon’s mobility. We run theRanger Foregripto buff our sprint speed and horizontal recoil control. TheInfiltrator Stockthen buffs your movement speed while aiming. This stacks with Stamin-Up’s Stalker augment, granting you ADS strafe speeds that are fairly close to hipfire speeds.
Since this build is meant for Zombies, we’ll be swapping out Flip Mag forExtended Mags II, increasing the gun’s magazine capacity to 55 rounds. Speed Cola will make up for the slower reload speed. Finally, useany red dot opticto clean up the gun’s sights. We use theVolzhskiy Reflex, but feel free to use any optic you like.
