How To Choose Your Starting Stats

When you get started in the prisons of the Asylum Island, one of the Red Priests will ask you questions. Your answers dictate your starting skills and stats, as these will be the bonus you begin with.

Hunting Playstyle Bonus

If you prefer to move quickly and wield a bow, select the option,“I was hunting.“This will grant youthe following bonusesto your starting stat array:

This build is best for those whoprefer stealth but aren’t opposed to getting their hands dirtyup close. You’ll have better proficiency in thicker armor, and you’ll have an edge when it comes to getting around.

Thieving Playstyle Bonus

If you’re more of a thief or assassin, select the option,“I was avoiding the city guards. Trying to sell some… goods.“The following bonuses will be rewarded:

With these stats, you’rebetter off clinging to the shadowsand remaining unseen.Combat is best avoided,as you’re not prepared to handle it up close unless you have a dagger.

Regardless of your choice, the priest will ask for clarification. You cangain additional bonusesthis way based on your preferences.

Best Skills To Focus On For Stealth

After youunlock skill trees and attributesbeyond the tutorial, it’s up to you todesign your character’s future. Without a thorough understanding of the system, it’sdifficult to know what your best options are.

Thankfully, we’ve outlined them below for you. Each level up gives youa single skill point and attribute point, which can individually be used tounlock new perks and enhance your stats.

You’ll need plenty of stamina to use your bow, as drawing an arrow consumes a large amount, let alone the time it takes to aim.

Price of Sold Goods

Practical skills will serve you well, enabling you to deal more damage for precise strikes and craft better potions you can use. You can also get a better price for the stolen goods you find.

Critical Chance

Sneak Damage

Sneak damage is your best friend, as it can easily one-shot enemies if timed properly. Additionally, the boost to your critical chance and damage will improve your odds of dealing a lethal blow on your first try.

Toincrease your carrying capacity, you might want to put a couple points into Endurance.
