The lowest of the high-tier crossbows, theMiners' Crossbowstill has significant power while also having a lower Strength and Agility requirement compared to almost any other ranged weapon. Although lacking in power, it makes for it in style being the most colorful and decorated crossbow.
The only way you can get the Miner’s Crossbow is from thePopinjay Shoot quest in Kuttenberg, which requires you to win an archery contest against a group of miners. Make sure to save beforehand and use a quick-firing crossbow as this contest can be difficult to win in your first few tries.

One of the highest-tier bows that doesn’t require too high a cap in Strength and Agility, theElm Longbowhas decent power and distance. This will likely be the bow you have for the longest period before you can upgrade to better bows in Kuttenberg.
you may get this bow as early asthe Trosky region, from various roadside traders or the Carpenter in Troskowitz. Although these traders change their inventory based on your level and won’t always have it in stock, it will always be available for Master Wenceslas in the south-east of Kuttenberg.

The sleekest-looking gun sporting the second-highest damage output of any ranged weapon, theMaster’s Handgonneis as shiny as it is deadly. The main trade-off compared to the Master’s Hook Gun is five less power but also one less weight, giving you a choice between slightly more damage or less encumbrance.
However, with its incredibly slow loading and firing, this weapon will be either the first shot fired before combat starts or exclusively from atop a battlement. you’re able to purchase one of these guns from Master Prokop Eldris in Kuttenberg or inside an old shack just north of the horse trader south of Old Lhota.

The strongest crossbow that only needs a crank to reload, theDecorated Field Crossbowis likely the crossbow you will use most often if you prefer these types of ranged weapons. The only downside being that the power difference compared to a heavy crossbow is rather significant.
However, this isan ideal stealth weapon, able to one-shot most groups of enemies with the right perks and poisoned bolts. You can purchase this crossbow from Master Wenceslas in Kuttenberg, as a quest reward at the end of the Kuttenberg Tournament, or from most high-level enemies wielding crossbows.
Only slightly weaker than the highest power bow,Ranyek’s Bowhas a far smaller skill requirement to wield while still able to outperform most other ranged weapons. Compared to the Elm Longbow, the only difference is that this bow only needs 14 strength to wield compared to 18.
However, there is only one way to get Ranyek’s Bow, and that is during The Devil’s Pack quest you receive from the Dry Devil in Kuttenberg. After pulling the body of Ranyek from a pile of human feces, you can loot the bow off of him but must either buy it off the dice players or fight them for it.

Despite a significant reloading time longer than even guns, the reinforced heavy crossbow has the highest power among all crossbows. The trade-off with guns is the ability to fire as soon as you finish reloading and having the ability to poison bolts despite a significant power decrease.
The reinforced crossbow is one of two crossbows requiring a pulley to load, meaning you should only use it in stealth or during battlement raids. you’re able to buy one from Shooting Master Bosonga in the south side of Sigismund’s Camp or from Master Wenceslas in Kuttenberg.

The strongest gun in the game, the master hook gun resembles the traditional hook gun but adds slightly more power to each shot. If you may find the time to perfect your aim with this weapon, then it is usually a one-shot kill against almost any opponent not holding a shield.
You can also find this gun as soon as you arrive in the Kuttenberg region by unlocking a chest inside the Locked Dugout location just north-west of Old Kutna. If you don’t want to have to fight a bandit and unlock a hard lock, you can buy one from Master Prokop Eldris in the gun shop in Kuttenberg.

The strongest bow in the game, the Ash Longbow has the highest power but also the highest skill requirements, needing a whopping 22 Strength to use. In terms of damage per second, this ranged weapon deals more damage than even guns after multiple shots in the same time.
Ash longbows are rare to find in the wild, as most bandits will be using elm or poacher’s bows at higher levels, but can be bought from Master Wenceslas' shop in the south-east of Kuttenberg. If you frequently use ranged weapons outside of stealth, you should always have this bow equipped.
