Within the first few minutes of startingMetaphor: ReFantazio, one of the most striking characters you meet is a serious-looking, scarlet-haired woman wielding a very large, and very deadly, sword. This lady is Hulkenberg, a former knight who once served the prince, who now serves as one of your party members throughout your journey.
While Hulkenberg’s follower bond unlocks fairly early on in your adventure, you have the entire rest of the game to complete it. To ensure that you’re able to live up to her high expectations of a warrior, this guide will detail everything you need to know to complete Hulkenberg’s follower bond, further strengthening one of your strongest allies.
How To Unlock Hulkenberg As A Follower
Fortunately for you, you don’t need to go through any trials and tribulations to gain Hulkenberg as a follower for your journey. Soon after she joins your party,she will automatically become one of your followers on June 10th.
Unlocking her follower bond gives you access to both the incredibly bulky Knight Archetype, as well as the rest of her bond conversations going forward.
All Hulkenberg Follower Ranks And Rewards
Like all follower bonds in this game, Hulkenberg’s bond contains eight different ranks, each with a conversation and dialogue options for you to choose from to further strengthen your relationship. While your follower rank will increase at the end of each bond conversation regardless of your dialogue choices,certain options will give you more MAG value than others. The following table contains every rank conversation, its prerequisites, and the best dialogue options for each one.
Completing Hulkenberg’s follower bond not only allows anyone in your party to study the strongest Archetypes from the Knight Lineage, butalso allows Hulkenberg to go beyond those Archetypes through the Royal Knight Archetype. This is one of the best Archetypes in the game, along with being Hulkenberg’s best possible Archetype by far.
To ascend Hulkenberg to the level of being a Royal Knight, you’ll need to put a lot of levels into several other Archetypes. Specifically,you’ll need Hulkenberg to reach level 20 Paladin, level 15 Dark Knight, and level 15 Elemental Master. On top of that, you’ll also have to pay a hefty 30,000 MAG fee to officially unlock it.
