While youwon’t be as tanky as with the Greatswordor have the safe range as with the Spear,the Dual Wield will give you plenty to chew on if you lovebeing overly aggressive and must be up close and personalwith everything you encounter in these types of games. Best Swift Attack Skills

First up is theSwift Attack Skill Tree,whichprimarily focuses on your ‘light’ attack strings,allowing you toperform more actions during and after your combo,which can lead to massive damage. This Skill Treeplays an enormous part in getting the most out of the Dual Wield,so we strongly recommend not skimping out on it.

Whirlwind (3/3)

Performing a Potent Blow during a Swift Attack or Blowback: Vengeance will have Khazan unleash a devastating leaping attack that can be chained into other actions if unlocked.

Whirlwind: Swiftness

Increases the overall attack speed of Whirlwind, allowing you to execute it at a much faster pace.

Whirlwind: Chain

Execute a heavy dash attack after performing Whirlwind’s leaping attack, allowing you to deal a bit more damage than usual.

Phantom: Sword Dance (3/3)

Khazan summons Blade Phantom to fight alongside him, having them attack with you when executing Howling Blade or Whirlwind!

Best Potent Blow Skills

Following that is thePoten Blow Skill Tree,focusing on your’heavy' attack strings,allowing them tohit substantially harderwhile alsoproviding unique buffs that will help you overcome many challenging encountersif you can land them successfully. Please do not overlook this Skill Tree. It is tremendously strong!

Gale

Khazan performs a charged Potent Blow, inflicting his target with the Injured Status Ailment and receiving the Vigor Effect in return. With each successful attack afterward, Khazan will gain a stack of Vigor, maxing out a ten stacks total, increasing his overall damage output.

Gale: Scar

Accumulated stacks of Vigor will detonate when landing a subsequent Gale attack. If you have ten stacks of Vigor built, all Vigor will be removed.

Gale: Smash

Vigor will now be detonated inside of Khazan’s target, greatly raising his Poise during the attack. Each time a charge of Vigor is detonated, Khazan will gain an additional stack of Vigor to extend its duration slightly.

Best Frenzy Skills

Next up is theFrenzy Skill Tree,which bringsunique actionsinto the mix that allow Khazan tounleash a barrage of attacksthat cancarve his opponent’s health away in seconds.While these Skills are devastating, theycan be risky to implement,making it crucial to understand how they work so you don’t waste them or leave yourself vulnerable!

Ruthless (3/3)

Khazan unleashes a rampage of attacks at a rapid rate, allowing him to continue his onslaught at the cost of more Stamina, culminating with a devastating finishing blow if the attack lasts long enough to generate more Attack Speed.

Ruthless: Stamina

Landing the finishing blow of Ruthless replenishes half of the Stamina used in the attack and changes it to an arcing strike.

Ruthless: Strength

When executing Ruthless, Khazan will have unlimited Poise, meaning the action cannot be interrupted.

Wind Piercer (3/3)

Hurl your axe forward and dash to it in the blink of an eye with a devastating follow-up attack that allows you to continue your pressure.

Wind Piercer: Persistence

The thrown axe remains in the area for a brief period and continues to damage the target as it violently spins in place.

Wind Piercer: Mark

At the cost of an additional Spirit Charge, the axe will remain spinning in place for an even longer duration, dealing substantially more damage over time.

Best Penetrate Skills

Now, we have thePenetrate Skill Tree,which is where your moremobility and evase-focused Skillscome into play, giving Khazan access tomany abilities that keep him quick and deadly without expending too much of his Stamina,allowing him tostay on the offensive much longer.This is a crucial and potent Skill Tree for the Dual Wield!

Fleet Footed (3/3)

Evading doesn’t use nearly as much Stamina, allowing Khazan to remain agile without having to worry about Exhuasting himself as often in combat.

Deftness

Dodging toward the target while attacking will have Khazan perform an elusive and devastating Dodge-Attack, making it hard for the target to hit him.

Deftness: Lightfoot

The distance of your Dodge is substantially increased, and the damage output of Deftness is also raised.

Disciplined Action

Raises the Invincibility Duration on your Dodges based on your overall Agility Rating.

Further increases the Invincibility Duration on Khazan’s Dodges.

Zephyr (3/3)

Allows you to move behind the enemy with a swift attack, leading to massive damage.

Wind Slash Step

If Khazan is taking damage or has been downed by an attack, he can quickly regain his composure and deal a devastating attack.

Best Guard Skills

Lastly, we have theGuard Skill Tree,which, as you likely guessed, focuses on the moredefense-focused Skillsfor the Dual Wield. Despite this Skill Tree being more tuned toward defense, there are stillsome potent Skills here,making them worth grabbing if you want awell-rounded build that can keep you alive while allowing you to remain deadly!

Blowback

Landing a Brink Guard will damage your target, making perfect parrying even more viable than it already is.

Blowback: Vengeance

Perform a swift counterstrike after landing a Brink Guard, allowing you to follow it up further with Howling Blade or Whirlwind.

Flash Cutter (3/3)

Khazan rushes his target down, absorbing all incoming damage. If he is attacked as it is activated, he will perform a counterstrike. Otherwise, he can consume an additional Spirit Charge to pierce through targets for massive damage.

Flash Cutter: Counter

Breaks the target’s stance if they attack as the attack is activating, increasing the overall damage output of Flash Cutter.

Flash Cutter: Decollation

If the target is Exhuasted, Flash Cutter will perform an additional follow-up attack for greater damage.
