Magplar Meta (DPS)
This Magicka Templar is one of the top picks for group PvE. It hits hard with Aoe and single-target damage, making it great for dungeons and trials, and keep it competitive with otherhigh ranking DPS buildsfrom other classes. Abilities likePuncturing Sweeps, Blazing Spear, and Radiant Oppressiondo solid damage while keeping you healed. Thanks to recent buffs, it’s holding strong in the current meta, and to get the most out of it, make sure to putall your attribute points into Magicka. If you’re looking to crank out high damage in group content, the Magplar is a solid choice. It’s easy to pick up with a basic rotation, but still has plenty of room for optimization if you’re chasing big numbers.
The Harpooner’s Wading Kilt is a powerful Mythic item, but itrequires the Blackwood DLCand access to the Antiquities system. You’ll need to be level 7 in Scrying, have Antiquarian Insight IV, and collect five master-level leads found across Blackwood, Shadowfen, Murkmire, and Bal Foyen. Expect some grinding, but the crit bonuses are worth it.

Abilities
You’ll rely on Puncturing Sweep for damage and healing, with Blazing Spear, Solar Barrage, and Mystic Orb for powerful AoE. Skills like Purifying Light, Barbed Trap, and Unstable Wallset up enemies for big hits, while Inner Light boosts crit and Harness Magicka keeps your defense solid.
Radiant Oppression handles executes, and Channeled Acceleration keeps Major Force up. When it’s time to go big, Shooting Star hits hard and generates Ultimate energy. Make sure to unlockall class passive and the Medicinal Usepassive in Alchemy. Don’t forget key guild passives—especially Undaunted and Fighters Guild. Biting Jabs is yourmain spammable ability, dealing fast frontal AoE with a chance to proc crit buffs. Power of the Light and Barbed Trap help your burst damage, while Stampede and Carve offer AoE and bleed effects. Venomous Knife adds execute, and Blazing Spear helps support groups.

The Magicka Templar healer, often called a “Healplar”, is a cornerstone of ESO’s group PvE meta. Main skills like Breath of Life, Radiating Regeneration, and Extended Ritual provide strong healing and support, while Luminous Shards and Combat Prayer buff your group. This healer build is all about burst healing, resource support, and group buffs. Paladin (Tank)
