Almost every single quest and task inAssassin’s Creed Shadowshas a recommended level requirement. It gives you an idea of what level of enemy you’ll face during the quest so that you may prepare accordingly.
However, you’ll often find yourself behind on the recommended level for the story quest assassination missions and will need to grind to level up. Thankfully, there are a few things you may do to level up fast in Assassin’s Creed Shadows to ensure you’re not far off the pace for long.

Complete Sets Of Side Quests
As you play through the story in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you’ll notice thatsets of side quest assassinationswill appear in the quests part of the pause menu.
You’llget an XP reward for each section you complete - usually 1000-2000- but you will usually alsoget 5000 XP for completing the set, which will put you towards the next level significantly.

In some side quest sets, you’ll find quests with different recommended levels. Therefore, you may need to complete them one by one as you progress through the story.
Explore To Find Locations
When you open up the map in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you’ll spotloads of question marksin every region. They can be anything from towns to castles or shrines.
You’llget XP for every single one you visit- usually 50 XP at a time. Therefore, just explore and try and uncover as many as you can. Many of them will be found as you travel between quest locations, too.

Castles & Shrines
Completing castles and forts are some of the biggest challenges in the game, but they offer the best XP rewards if you’re trying to level up quickly.
You need tovisit an enemy-occupied location, kill a few challenging samurai, and open a legendary chest. Not only will you get a great weapon or piece of gear as a reward, but you’ll alsoget 2000-3000 XPfor completing the challenge. That’s on top of all the XP you rack up for killing tens of enemies as you try to find the samurai.

Shrines and Temples, which ask you to pray or find lost pages, will take less time and still get you 500 XP a time.
Kill Everyone You Can
You’ll alsoget XP quickly if you kill every enemyyou can, instead of running away when you get into some danger. You’llget 10-50 XP for each enemy you kill, depending on how strong they are.
Therefore, even if you just spot a few guys at the side of the road while travelling to an objective, you should stop and take them out if you’re trying to reach the next level.
