2025 Is Already Stacked, But Judas Would’ve Been Nice To See

As first reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, Levine’s Judas was supposed to have been released two months ago in March. It seems like almost everyone forgot, but that was the plan, according to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.

Back in 2023,IGN reported that Zelnick affirmed that the game would be playable “sometime before the end of March 2025.“In an interview ahead of an earnings call, IGN further inquired if Judas was part of the reported 87 games that would launch between then and March 2025, to which Zelnick said yes.

“We did have some slippage in the last few years,” he said. “We feel really stable right now. I feel great about our upcoming schedule.

“Of course, there’s always the possibility of some slippage, but the teams seem to be functioning really well, and I’m optimistic about delivering great titles to the marketplace on an ongoing basis.”

Well, so much for that. Instead,March 2025 was headlined by Split Fiction, as well as Assassin’s Creed Shadows and The First Berserker: Khazan.

The game, which was initially revealed back in 2022 during that year’s edition of The Game Awards, has seemingly been in development hell, according to Jason Schreier. It’s unclear why exactly there hasn’t been any update on the title, outside an interview with GamesIndustry.biz about his hopes for the game, his first since BioShock Infinite in 2013, a decade-plus absence.
