It’s the final day ofTheGamer’s boss week, and to celebrate, we have another exclusive reveal fromThe First Berserker: Khazanfor you, with release now just a few days away.
We’ve been dedicating each day to just one boss over the past week,with Knivesveil Slayers leader Maluca being the most recent, but we’re being so generous today that you’re getting a double bill this time around. The first of our two bosses we’re showing off is Viper, whose exclusive debut trailer you can find below, narrated by the wonderful Ben Starr.
Here’s A First Look At The First Berserker: Khazan’s Viper Boss
Viper is a leader of the dragonkin - which is unsurprising given his immense size - and a spawn of the Berserk Dragon Hismar. In fact, he’s considered massive and powerful even among other dragonkin, so you’ll have a rough time fighting him.
To make matters worse, Viper is equipped with both magical and physical means to harm you. Not only does he have a massive double-bladed swordstaff, which he’ll use while leaping around the arena, he also has the ability to wield magic too. Definitely not a foe you want to take lightly, but then neither is our second boss for today.
Here’s A First Look At The First Berserker: Khazan’s Princess Ilyna Boss
The second boss we’re showcasing for you today is Princess Ilyna, who may as well be the polar opposite to Viper in a lot of ways. A princess who loved her country greatly, Ilyna now struggles with murderous impulses and is waiting for someone to come and strike her down and end her misery. A nice and cheery boss for us to end on then.
While she’s murderous on the inside, she’s a lot more graceful than every other boss we’ve shown off so far. She channels that grace through her weapon of choice, a rapier that will cut you to ribbons if you underestimate her. It’s down to you to dodge/parry her precise strikes and take her down once and for all.
Those are the final two boss fights from The First Berserker: Khazan that we have to show off to you this week, and you’ll be able to take on every foe you’ve seen here when the game finally launches next week on March 27.
