There’s no denying that it’s a good candidate for a live-action adaptation.
However, one of the main reasons the game is so popular is because of its unique, stylized approach to turn-based combat. While the narrative and characters can be adapted, there’s no way that a movie will be able to capture the standout feature of the game.
