As more players have progressed through Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, encountering Esquie on their travels, the call for Esquie merch, including a plushie like the one found in the game (and seen above), have grown louder.
Over the past few days, dozens ofthreadshave popped up in the Expedition 33subreddit, with players asking for Esquie goodies, and it seems like the development team has been listening.
In a newinterviewwith CohhCarnage, Sandfall Interactive CEO and creative director Guillaume Broche and art director Nicholas Maxson-Francombe discussed the success of the game and their future plans.
When asked about potential plushies for Esquie, the duo laughed and responded, “We were literally talking about it in our Discord channel this morning. It’s absolutely necessary for the world.”

It’s an unsurprising move, but a welcome one, given the popularity of the character, and it will be interesting to see how quickly Sandfall and Kepler can get it produced.
