Date Everythinglaunching on Valentine’s Day always sounded a little bit like it was too good to be true.The game was hit with a delayahead of its perfectly placed release date with the promise that it will be here sometime in June instead. Not only do we now know exactly when in June that will be, but the studio behind it has also confirmed Date Everything will be getting a physical edition.
Developer Sassy Chap Games has now confirmed that Date Everything is still on track for June and will bereleased onPS5,Xbox Series X|S,Nintendo Switch, andPCon June 08, 2025. No confirmation on when exactly the physical version of the game will follow, but that too will launch on all three of the console platforms mentioned above.
Aside from literally letting you date everything - there are 100 fully voiced characters for you to choose from - Date Everything has about as star-studded a cast as it gets when it comes to the video game world.Final Fantasy 16’s Ben Starr, Horizon’s Ashley Burch, and Troy Baker ofThe Last Of UsandDeath Strandingfame are all in the game, and they’re all voicing household items that have come to life so that you can attempt to woo them.

Those actors, and the rest of the Date Everything cast, have recorded 1.2 million words and 70,000 lines, resulting in branching narratives and different endings for every character. To date the game’s items, you need to pop on a pair of Dateviators. The glasses are what turn the items into people for you to chat with.
You can check outthe new release date trailer for Date Everything here, and as becomes apparent within the first few seconds, if you see an item in Date Everything, you can probably date it. The first example shows the player using their Dateviators to date a door, but yes, right before it, that is a tease that you will be able to date a toilet if that’s something that appeals to you.
June will be a busy time for video games, and there are a lot of dating sims out there, but Date Everything appears to be something that will stand out from everything else due to how truly unique it is. It’s a shame it wasn’t ready in time for Valentine’s Day, but hopefully four more months of polish means it’s an even better game than it would have been had it launched as planned.
