Summary
Skirk has been one of the most popular characters in theGenshin Impactcommunity ever since her first introduction, and her kit has finally been leaked thanks to the Version 5.7 beta, showcasing a dual stancemuch like her apprentice, Tartaglia.
Skirk was first revealed at the end of the main story of Natlan, where Neuvillette was about to deal with Narwhal, but she sort of captured it into a ball and threw it through a portal with Childe. This is where she also revealed her connection with the Abyss and her master being “The Foul”.

This started the hype in the community for this character, which got more fuel when Genshin Impact’s official Xdripped a bunch of new character silhouettes, including Skirk in the middle. And finally, her entire kit has been leaked as she’s confirmed to be in Version 5.7.
Skirk’s Abilities Involve Two Different Stances, Much Like Her Apprentice
Originally reported by a prominent Genshin Impact leaker whogoes by the name HomDGCat, and then shared by IS_Mythix on Reddit, Skirk’s kit involves different stances that can be triggered with her Elemental Skill. She also has two different Bursts depending on your stance, and here are all the details about her abilities:
Skirk Normal Attacks
Most of the characters in the game have a specific type of normal attacks where they do a combination of hits with their basic attack, use up some stamina to deal higher damage with their charged attack, and plunge from midair in their Plunging Attack, and the same goes for Skirk.
Skirk Elemental Skill
Skirk can enter the Seven-Phase Slash mode by tapping her Elemental Skill, while she gains 45 Serpent’s Subtlety when you both tap it or hold it. In the hold mode, she can instead move at rapid speed in any direction. Serpent’s Subtlety can either be used to stay in Seven-Phase Slash mode or use her Elemental Burst Havoc: Ruin outside the aforementioned mode.
While in Seven-Phase Slash mode, Skirk’s normal and charge attacks' AoE and her interruption resistance are increased. She also deals Cryo-Infused damage on all types of normal attacks, and her Burst is changed from Havoc: Ruin to Havoc: Extinction. She can also move on water when she sprints in this mode.

Skirk’s Elemental Burst
Havoc: Ruin
This is her Burst in her normal form, which can be used by consuming 50 Serpent’s Subtlety. It deals up to six AoE slashes with high damage, and the damage can be increased for each Serpent’s Subtlety consumed after 50, up to 12 more.
Havoc: Extinction
You can use this Burst in her Seven-Phase Slash mode at no cost and it gives her the “All Shall Wither” effect. This effect increases her Normal Attack DMG up to ten times. She can also absorb Void Rifts while triggering it, which further increase the damage based on the amount absorbed.
Skirk’s Passives
Reason Beyond Reason
A void rift can be spawned every 2.5 seconds when Skirk’s party triggers Frozen, Superconduct, Cryo Swirl, or Cryo Crystallize reactions. Up to three of these rifts can exist on the battlefield.
The void rifts can be absorbed with a charged attack in Seven-Phase Flash mode, Havoc: Extinction Burst, or the hold instance of her Elemental Skill. Each rift absorbed also gives her 8 Serpent’s Subtlety.

Return to Oblivion
Other than Skirk, when nearby Hydro or Cryo members deal their respective elemental damage, she gains Death’s Crossing. Each character can only give one stack, and each stack increases her Havoc: Ruin and Seven-Phase Flash mode damage.
Mutual Weapons Mentorship
When the entire party is made of Hydro and Cryo characters, and there’s one of each, the party’s Elemental Skill level is increased by one.
Skirk Constellations And Signature Weapon
Skirk’s signature weapon called “Azurelight” can give her increased ATK for 12 seconds after using her Skill. This ATK is doubled and also gets additional Crit DMG when the wielder has zero Energy, which is all the time for her. Moreover, here’s what her constellations do:
Skirk’s overall kit makes her quite niche and only works well with a full team of Cryo and Hydro characters, withEscoffier being one of her best supports.
