The Go Pass, Explained
The Go Pass is a new experimental feature that Pokemon Go has been testing for the past few months,giving players in certain regions the chance to experience it before its global release. This will be returning for the month of May, bringing a few additions and adjustments to further test out this new feature.
The Go Pass willfunction as a standard battle pass feature, requiring you to earnGo Points to increase your Go Pass rank. To earn Go Points, you will need tocomplete specific in-game tasks, known as Pass Tasks, each providing you with a set amount of points when completed.
This month, those who have the Go Pass available to them may see slight variations in their rewards from player to player. This is due to Pokemon Go continuing to test out this feature, helping them make tweaks before the global release.
This month, those who are eligible will receive access to the Go Pass onTuesday, July 25, 2025.
Once you have this, you will be able to progress through the pass and claim rewardsthrough Tuesday, June 26, 2025.
The Go Pass Deluxe
They will be testing a new Go Pass tier this month, theGo Pass Deluxe. Although the standard Go Pass will be available free of charge, theGo Pass Deluxe will be a paid upgrade.
Purchasing this upgrade will provide you withimproved rewards and progression at a faster rate. You will be able to purchase this upgrade at any time, allowing you to claim all rewards from the Go Pass Deluxe even if you have already passed the rank.
