Summary
You may have read about theOblivion Remasteredcommunity’s obsession with the new-look flame atronach. It’s becomean epidemic on the Oblivion subreddit, so much so that the moderators have banned posts dedicated to players admiring the figures of the game’s new flame atronach and spriggan models.
Curiously, nobody has decided to thirst over any of the nearly 1000 non-player-characters (NPCs) present in Oblivion Remastered. This isn’t very surprising, as Oblivion was never famous for its attractive NPCs. The only handsome man in the game is Lucian Lachance, and he’s a serial killer.

New Obsession
However, fans have found a new target for their admiration. The frost atronach, a close relation of the flame atronach, has been attracting plaudits for its assets.
“Now that being horny for flame atronachs is banned, can we have real discussions like why is the frost atronach so caked up? writesGavou. Indeed, this thread has sparked an important discussion about the very nature of the frost atronach; what makes them tick, what are their motivations for lumbering around and clubbing unsuspecting goblins?

There’s also a troubling trend of players only posting deceased frost atronachs, as if you can’t appreciate their splendour while they’re alive. It seems as if everyone has been listening far too much to Falanu Hlaalu, a Dunmer with a fascination for…unorthodox sexual acts.
However, the post also raises another salient point. There’s plenty of love for the flame and frost atronachs, but what about the noble flesh atronach? The bulbous creatures are mostly found in the Shivering Isles, which few players have dared to venture into yet.

“Why’s no one giving love for the flesh atronach?” asksPaisleywallpaper. These things occur in trends, so when the frost atronach fascination ends, perhaps it will be a golden era for flesh atronach enthusiasts.
I’m glad that Oblivion Remastered has everyone talking about important topics again.
