The teaser for Fortnite’s Galactic Battle season confirmed theStar Warstheme and teased a bunch of new characters that would bejoining the Island on May 2, such as Mace Windu, Darth Jar Jar, and more. It seems those heroes and villains were just the beginning, though, as Epic has just revealed the contents of the season’s Battle Pass to be rather different.

Poe Dameron And General Grievous Are Coming To Fortnite’s Galactic Battle Season

Are Those Lightsaber Pickaxes?!

Despite the fact that we’re still a week away from the season beginning, Epic Games decided to pull the curtain back even further on Fortnite’s Galactic Battle season by revealing the contents of its Battle Pass early. The characters and skins included aren’t what you’d expect, though, as there are several that weren’t revealed in the trailer.

Let’s start with the known heroes first, though.Epic Games decided to pull the curtain back even further on Fortnite’s Galactic Battle season, Emperor Palpatine, a Wookie version of Cuddle Team Leader, and an original skin that resembles Leia are all included in the Battle Pass. So far, so known, but the real surprises come from two characters who weren’t revealed and some that aren’t shown to be in the pass.

General Grievous, who was suggested to be in the season by insiders, is shown in the Battle Pass lineup, as is Poe Dameron from the most recent trilogy of Star Wars films. Neither were confirmed in the season’s recent reveal trailer, making it quite a shock that they’re apparently on the Battle Pass.

Some Fortnite fans also think that the Battle Pass image is confirming Lightsaber Pickaxes, as some of the characters are shown holding them. That seems inconclusive for now considering Lightsabers are usually just weapons, but the hopium is there at least.

Outside of those two, the revealed Battle Pass does raise some questions about characters we know are coming but aren’t shown here.Darth Jar Jar and Mace Windu are both missing from the lineup, which could indicate that either of them are the bonus character on the Battle Pass, or are being saved for the Item Shop. We’ll find out for sure in the near future.
