Multiple Daedric Shrines are scattered across Cyrodiil inOblivion Remastered, and they are a medium through which followers talk to the Daedric Princes. This is an advantage for you as you’re able to activatequests that give great rewardsby interacting with the various Daedric statues.
Each Daedric Prince has a different personality, which you can see through how they talk to you and the tasks they ask you to complete. Pleasing the deities by doing their quests can get you some of the best Daedric weapons and artifacts.
10Wabbajack
Shrine Of Sheogorath
Sheogorath is the Daedric Prince of Madness, so it should come as no surprise when he asks you to go into a town near his shrine and put fear into their hearts. This is an interesting quest as you fulfill a prophecy of the town that states doom will befall them after certain events occur. Making these events happen and completing the quest gets you a unique staff as a reward.
Wabbajackis a staff that can transform any non-NPC into another creature for 10 seconds. The staff is as volatile as Sheogorath, so the transformation is random. A Mountain Lion could be turned into a Rat and a Scamp could turn into a Daedra. This is why it should be used with caution, because it can become an issue if you try it at a high-level enemy, and they’re transformed into a higher-level enemy.
Sheogorath’s greetings will vary depending on whether you’ve visited the Shivering Isles and, if you have, how far you are in the main quest. If you’re already Sheogorath, then you’ll be greeted by Haskill instead.
9Sanguine Rose
Shrine Of Sanguine
Sanguine is a lively Daderic Prince who loves pranks and alcohol, and his quest has you conducting a prank to bring life to a party. He tells you that Castle Leyawiin and its Countess are both boring, and he wants you to gatecrash a party she is planning and pull a prank. The quest is quite simple and, in the end, all the party guests, including you, will be left in their undergarments.
You will get theSanguine Roseas a reward once you return to the Daedric Prince after completing the quest. The staff is one of the more powerful ones in Oblivion Remastered as it allows you to summon a Daedra who will fight the target. Which Daedra appears depends on your luck, but you may find yourselfconjuring and commandinga high-level Daedra for 20 seconds.
8Ring Of Namira
Shrine Of Namira
Namira’s Daedric quest is one of the most straightforward ones as she asks you to cast a spell on the Priests of Arkay so her followers can dispatch them. Simply following your map marker, casting the spell, and letting Namira’s followers take care of the rest should easily let you complete the quest.
The Daedric Prince will give you the Ring of Namira as a token of her appreciation. This enchanted item comes with damage and spell reflection effects. It’s one of the most effective items when fighting against mages and doesn’t take too much effort to acquire.
7Spell Breaker
Shrine Of Peryite
You’ll see a group of followers stuck and immobile in their position when you reach the Shrine of Peryite. The Daedric Prince will tell you that his followers attempted to summon him but instead lost their souls within another realm. He tasks you with reuniting the souls and bodies of his followers.
You’ll return to the shrine once you rescue all five souls from the Realm of Peryite, and he’ll grant you your reward.Spell Breakeris a uniqueShieldthat has a 30 percent spell reflection enchantment. This makes it a handyshieldwhen fighting against opponents who rely on magic.
6Skull Of Corruption
Shrine Of Vaermina
Vaermina is the Daedric Prince of Dreams and Nightmares who tasks you with obtaining an orb that was brought from another realm. Your quest will lead you to Arkved’s Tower, where you will find monsters of various sorts. You can either fight them or sprint to your destination. Vaermina will give you your reward regardless of how you obtain the orb.
The chaotic Deadric Prince will bestow upon you theSkull of Corruption, a staff that can create a clone of almostany NPC in the game. The clone lasts for 30 seconds and will usually attack its double as soon as it appears. Using the staff on a target counts as assault, but the clone killing the NPC won’t count as murder by you.
you’re able to use the trapdoor to enter Arkved’s Death chamber if you want to avoid traveling through Arkved’s Tower.
5Skeleton Key
Shrine Of Nocturnal
Going to Nocturnal’s shrine and interacting with his statue will prompt the Deadric Prince to tell you that his eye has been stolen, and he will grant you a favor if you find it. Finding the eye is easy because the prince tells you to look for the thieves in Leyawiin. You will find the thieves after some investigation and eventually find the location of the eye.
Finding and returning the eye will lead to Nocturnal rewarding you with the Skeleton Key. This is one of the best items in the game, as it’s an unbreakable lockpick and also increases your security skill by 40 points whenever it’s in your inventory. The item is more helpful for thieves, but its skill boost makes it useful for those with low-security skills.
4Ring Of Khajiiti
Shrine Of Meridia
Meridia’s Daedric quest can be easy or hard depending onyour character’s level. The Daedric Prince commands you to go to a cave and kill some necromancers who have been raiding graves to raise their undead army. If your combat skills are at a good level, you may be able to dispatch the enemies easily, but they’re a significant threat, so go fully prepared.
You will be rewarded with the Ring of Khajiiti for your troubles and the enchanted item will help you blend into the world more and fortify your speed by ten points. The ring comes with a 35 percentChameleoneffect and, while it won’t make you invisible, you can use multiple items to reach 100 percent and not be seen.
3Ebony Blade
Shrine Of Mephala
Mephala is a Daedric Prince linked with murders, lies, and deception. This is why her quest also revolves around these elements, as she wants you to start a feud between two families by murdering a member of one and planting evidence against the other. This will lead to a massive fight that will mark the end of one family.
While sad for the family that perished, Mephala will give you a reward for all the troubles you went through. TheEbony Bladeis an enchanted weapon that comes withAbsorb HealthandSilenceeffects. This makes the blade a useful item in fights as it can stop mages from casting spells and give you the health of enemies.
2Goldbrand
Shrine Of Boethia
Boethia’s Daedric quest is simple as it requires you to travel to a different realm and fight various combatants until you’re the last one remaining. You can loot the corpses of the fallen combatants as they have nice loot, but the real reward awaits you at the shrine.
Boethia will give youGoldbrandas a reward when you return after defeating all the Daedric Prince’s chosen. The katana comes with a base damage of 25 points and a fire damage effect of 22 points. It’s one of the best weapons in the game and can be effective even against more powerful enemies.
1Oghma Infinium
Shrine Of Hermaeus Mora
Hermaeus Mora’s Deadric quest is the last one you may complete and the Daedric Prince wants you to capture one soul of each of the races in Cyrodiil. How you go about this is up to you. You could fight in the Arena and trap the souls of combatants, or you could go on a killing spree someplace else.
You get the Oghma Infinium, which is the most powerful skill book in the game, as a reward for completing the quest. Reading it will allow you to permanently boost two attributes and three skills by 10 points each.
You need to complete all the Daedric Shrine quests and at least start the Blood of Daedra quest to be able to start this quest.
