Summary

It’s beena week since trailer two for GTA 6 dropped, and we still can’t stop talking about it. From theridiculously good visuals, toLucia’s backside, and even what looks likea negligible glitch, fans have analysed almost every frame of the trailer. Rockstar has clearly succeeded in bringing back the hype that died down after the game’s delay.

While reflections, bubbles, and details are one thing, fans have evenconcocted conspiracy theories simply based on details from the trailer. People have now started comparing locations in the trailers to their real-life counterparts. Unfortunately, while the recreations are faithful to an extent, fans have realised that they look drab compared to the GTA 6 recreations.

GTA 6 Looks Better Than Real Life

We’ve all heard that joke about real life having great graphics but terrible gameplay. It seems that the second trailer for GTA 6 has made that joke irrelevant. RedditorProfessionalPop2348decided to do a side-by-side comparison of some of the locations from the trailer and the places they were inspired by. While the placement of most things was accurate, they look so much better in the trailer.

Given that the images were taken from Google Maps, there is just something so lifeless about them, especially when compared to the GTA 6 versions. It seems GTA 6 officially looks better than real life. “GTA 6 is so much more gorgeous than real life,” said one of the comments.

“We’ve finally reached the point where video game graphics look better than real life,” jokes another. Of course, if the real life images were taken by a half decent camera, the conversation would be different. But, the art style and lighting make the trailer versions look so much better.

Another postalso shared a comparison of the underwater scene from the trailer with a real life underwater shot. As you guessed, the trailer version looks much better. “I find it funny that I saw some people saying that GTA was “realistic and soulless” and “lacking in art direction” which is a big lie,” said a reply. “The feeling of “This is more beautiful than real life” comes precisely from the art direction.”

Of course, we know that this is simply a joke. But the fact that people are actually comparing shots, even if they’re from Google Maps, goes to show just how good the GTA 6 trailer looks.
