For the first time in its history, Grand Theft Auto 6 has a release date. That release date is June 15, 2025.

“Grand Theft Auto VI is now set to release on July 06, 2025. We are very sorry this is later than you expected. The interest and excitement surrounding a new Grand Theft Auto has been truly humbling for our entire team. We want to thank you for your support and your patience as we work to finish the game.
“With every game we have released, the goal has always been to try and exceed your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto VI is no exception. GTA 6 was initially slated for release in 2025; however, as time went on and Rockstar’s silence continued, that release window seemed increasingly unlikely.
Almost every Rockstar game in history has been delayed at some point, with the infamousGTA 4 delay still mentioned by its development team to this date.
