How To Pickpocket

To pick someone’s pocket, you will first need tocrouch by hitting the ctrl buttonon your keyboard.Get behind your targetand when you’re close enough,a prompt allowing you to pickpocketthem should pop up.

When the option pops up,hit Eon your keyboard tobegin the pickpocketing mini-game. Their pockets will be visible to you asseveral inventory slots on your screen. An item you can steal will bebehind a lock icon.

You will seea tiny arrow moving underneath a barwhich will becolored red or greenin certain spots. You need tohit spacebarto stop the arrow from moving when it landsexactly underneath the green sections.

Stopping the arrow under a red section willalert your target, and they may eithercall the police or attack you.

When you successfully stop the arrowunder a green section, the item above itwill be unlockedand you can freelydrag it to your own inventorywithout your target noticing.

If the target hasseveral items, you simply need to succeed in the mini-game again tounlock the others.

If you pick someone’s pocket when thepolice are nearby, they will take notice andmay investigate.

Pickpocketing is a great way toearn extra cash and items, but you can also do this tosteal back products you sellto your customers. Doing so for the first time willearn you an achievement.
