Warzone has always been a sweaty experience, especially when you’re up against players who’ve been honing their skills since day one. Now that Verdansk has made its return inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6Season 3, you might find yourself still trying to learn the map’s layout and all its intricacies.

Meanwhile, the seasoned veterans who’ve been playing from the very beginning already know every corner, every hotspot, and every trick of the trade. This disparity in experience can make your time on the battlefield even more challenging, as you’re forced to face off against players who have had a significant head start over you.

Battle Royale Casual, Explained

As the name suggests, the Battle Royale Casual is a separate modedesigned for people who never had the chance to play Verdansk when it first launched, and it serves as a tutorial or practice mode for the map.

This is becausethe mode will mostly feature AI bots, withjust a handful of players. This makes exploring the map, learning the layout, and practicing your shootingmuch easier for those who are just starting out.

The mode features28 real playersand120 bots, for a total of 148 players in the match.

Alternatively, it’s also an option for people who may have grown tired of the competitive or intense matches and just want to take a break - because, let’s face it,we all need a breather sometimes.

The match works exactly the same as the normal BR, where you start with just a pistol and need toland and loot cratesto get weapons, armor plates, and cash in order to purchase your loadout and get your customized weapon.

You still need to complete contracts, fight other players, andkeep moving toward the safe zone, ultimately aiming to get a win.

Take this as a chance tohone your skills, get a better feel for your favorite weapons, try new ones, andlearn the mapand all its routesso that when you jump into the real thing, you’ll be well-prepared.

Usually, for most of the match, you’ll rarely encounter real players, but in the final circles, there will only be real players left, as the bots are… well, bots.
