When you first start playing Elden Ring Nightreign, only one Nightlord is unlocked by default, the Tricephalos. But in total, there areeight different Expeditions.

Every Expedition follows the same format: you have tosurvive for two daysas the Night’s Tide closes in, beforefighting a great boss at the end of each. After the second day, you’ll betransported to the Nightlord’s arena for a final fight, concluding the run.
Days last around 15 minutes, depending on how long you take to beat their final boss, so on average,Expeditions can take anywhere from 35 to 50 minutesto complete.
How Many Expeditions Are Required To Beat The Game?
To unlock the final boss,you need to beat four different Nightlords. That meansyou can complete the game with only five Expeditions.
If you beat five Nightlords first try,you could finish Nightreign in as little as three hours. But again, that’s very unlikely.
Realistically, it’ll take you anywhere from 8-20 hourswhen factoring in failed attempts and time taken to progress Remembrances.
How Long To 100 Percent?
If you want to see everything that Elden Ring Nightreign has to offer, it’ll take significantly longer.There are eight Nightfarers, each with their own Remembrance storyline. To progress these, you need Memory Fragments, which are seemingly rewarded for beating Nightlords.
There are 37 Achievements/Trophies to unlock.
So, while there are eight Expeditions, you’ll be repeating a few to unlock more quests, and in some cases, for the quests themselves.To get every ending, you must also beat the final Nightlord with each Nightfarer— that’s eight victories and however many failed attempts.You’ll also get a Trophy/Achievement for doing so.
On top of that,you have the Shifting Earth events: the Mountaintop, Rotted Woods, Shrouded City, and Crater.Completing each of these rewards you with an Achievement/Trophy. However,you don’t need to beat the Nightlord for it to count.
Depending on your skill level,100 percenting Nightreign could take upward of 30 to 40 hours.
