Blue Princeoffers many mind-bending puzzles that you have to figure out in order to unlock new rooms or uncover the secrets of the manor. One such puzzle is the fountain in the courtyard just outside the Entrance Hall.
You may not even know that the fountain means anything until you first enter the Pump Room. On the wall of the Pump Room are the names of all the water areas that you can control from there, and one of them is the fountain.
How To Drain The Fountain
To drain the fountain, youwill need access to the Pump Room, so be on the lookout for it. Luckily, the Pump Room doesn’t cost any gems to draft, but it could be behind a locked door, so ensure you have keys.
Though the Pump Room doesn’t cost any gems, The Pool, which puts the Pump Room into the draft pool for that day,does cost one gem.
The Fountain is the first pipe, which is connected to the two tanks on the side of the room. To drain or fill the fountain, you’ll use Pump two, which is the second one from the door.
to access the area below the fountain, you will need tocompletely empty it of water. You can do this by filling other areas with water, like the Kitchen or the Pool.
When you finally have it drained, head back outside, and where the water once was you’llsee a spiral stone staircase heading underground.At the bottom of the stairs you’ll find a door thatrequires a Basement Key to open.
If you’ve ever tossed coins into the fountain to “Make A Wish”,you’ll find them all on the stone stairsafter draining the fountain and can take them back.
