The ancient ruins of the Aladiss Continent are endless, and you can spend hours inAtelier Yumia: The Alchemist Of Memories & The Envisioned Landby simply exploring them and uncovering their hidden secrets. Some of them can be powerful enough to even enhance your modern abilities, if you’re up to their challenges.
The Shrines of Prayer are a great example of that, being one of the most common ruins you can find. They are usually guarded by some fierce monsters roaming around, but if you sneak past them and solve the puzzles, you’ll be well rewarded for your efforts.

What Are Shrines Of Prayer?
A Shrine of Prayer isone of the many structures you can find during exploration. At first glance, they are inactive and only have a small altar. Interacting with this altar starts a small quest to restore it to functionality. During this quest, you mustcomplete small puzzles in the surrounding area to activate the Shrine again.
The quest features a red line guiding you to the puzzles, but you have to solve them on your own. There are alwaystwo or more puzzlesto complete. Once they’re done, the Shrine is permanently activated, and you get Energy Prisms as rewards.

Energy Prisms can be used on the Shrine itself toupgrade your Energy Core, giving it new effects or increasing its maximum limit;each region is filled with Shrines, and you’ll come across them very often. Interacting with them and completing their puzzles will be crucial to making your exploration smoother.
Shrines of Prayer have no Fast Travel function to them, butyou’ll often find other structures to which you may Travel nearby. ensure to unlock them beforehand.

Activating Shrines Of Prayer
When first interacting with a Shrine, you automatically get a new quest to make them work again. Follow thered lines to find out what’s stopping the Shrine from working properly, which are always some problems with nearby structures.
Reach for one of the structures to continue the small quest, where you’ll have to eithersolve an energy puzzle or shoot a button to get it working again.Keep your eyes open, as it’s not uncommon to find more treasures on your way.

Most Shrines of Prayers have two structures to activate, butit’s possible to find Shrines with only one or even three (or more) structures to solve. Puzzles get more complicated as you advance with your exploration. The red lines persist until you fix all the structures. After completing all of them, the lines turn blue, and you can return to the main Shrine.
Successfully reactivating a Shrine of Prayer rewards you with some Energy Prisms.you’re able to get from two to five Prisms at once, depending on the Shrine.
Interacting with it again opens up the Energy Upgrade menu, whereyou can use those Prisms to enhance your Energy Core.you may do this in any active Shrine in the game, and all of them will have the same Prism costs.Energy Prisms are also used to upgrade your Skill Tree, but they’ll only be needed for more advanced upgrades.
Energy Upgrades
