In life, you either choose to focus on your studies to get a degree or start your career and get a job. The same applies in InZoi, where you’re free to choose whichever option feels right for you. Whether you’re a kid, a teenager, or a young adult, you will have the option to continue your studies. This guide will show you how the system works and how to apply for either school or university.
InZoi is in Early Access, so the content will change over time. We will update this guide as needed in the future.
How To Apply To School
Whileyour Zoi can have a career and apply for jobs, you might prefer them tofocus on their studies.you may do this byenrolling them in school or university.
This will depend on the age of the Zoi you control, andit works like this:
Depending on the Zoi’s age, you will be able to enroll them in the appropriate school.
Note that there are no requirements to meet before applying for school, as you are automatically enrolled after applying.
To do so, justopen your Smartphone by pressing P on your keyboard, then go to theSchool tabat the bottom left of the screen. There, you will be able tofind the appropriate school you can enroll your Zoi in and simply click ‘Apply.’
You can click on each option toview more details, such as how many days you need to attend, the specific days, hours, and so on.
When it’s time for your Zoi to go to school,you will receive a notification at the bottom left of the screento remind you.
Be cautious,as you will be expelled after three unexcused absences.
There’s always the option todrop out if you want to find a job or pursue a career. You can do this by visiting the School tab you are enrolled in.
You will find three icons, andthe last one will say ‘Drop Out.‘If you select and confirm this option,you will leave the system and lose all progress.
How To Apply To University
If your character is aYoung Adult, they canenroll in universityandchoose a degree they want to study.Currently, there are only three degrees available:
Just like with school, open your Smartphone andclick on the School icon. To the far right,you will see the University icon, and you will be able to find three options with the degrees mentioned above.
Surprisingly,there are no requirements or criteria that your Zoi needs to meet in order to be accepted into any of them. You can simply apply, and you will be automatically enrolled.
Unlike school,university takes things more seriously. You will be prompted tocomplete certain homework, known as Tasks, and these will be displayed on the left side of the screen.
These tasks vary depending on your degree, so you need to make sure to complete them in order to succeed andincrease your academic level.
If you don’t like your current degree that’s fine,you can apply for a different one. However, be mindful that your progress from the previous degree will reset.
Much like school, if you think you’ve had enough and want to pursue a real job to make money,you’re able to always drop outand find a paying job instead.
