Yourpath through the Shivering Isleshas been a winding and difficult one thus far as you approach the end of thisOblivion RemasteredDLC. While you’ve followed all of Sheogorath’s advice thus far and done everything in your power to prepare and fight the Greymarch, Jyggalag’s return is inevitable, and now it’s up to you to fight him directly.
First, you must repel Jyggalag’s invasion forces before this Daedric Prince of Order descends upon the battlefield. Here’s how to defend the New Sheoth Palace and defeat Jyggalag’s forces during The End Of Order quest.
How To Start The End Of Order
Once you’ve completed The Roots of Madnessby imbuing the Staff of Sheogorath with power, you’ll immediately beapproached by a Mazken or Aureal guard matching the house you rule,telling you the Dark Seducers or Golden Saints (in this case, it’s Autkendo Jansa) need your help.
This will begin the next quest,The End of Order.
Follow the guard to the door where a squadron of eitherAureal or Mazken guards will appear and ask for your help(depending on whether youchose to become the Duchy of Mania or Dementia).
An Obelisk of Orderhas just appeared in thePalace’s courtyard,and you have to stop this direct assault from Jyggalag.
How To Defeat The Forces Of Order & Jyggalag
Leave the Palace and sprint for the courtyard, where you’ll findtwo Obelisks of Orderwaiting for you outside, along with aplatoon of Knights of Order.
Be sure to loot their bodies for Hearts of Order if you don’t have any on you.
Slash your way through the large battalion of knights andapproach the Obelisk and deposit a Heart of Order three times,pausing to dispatch the summoned Knight of Order each time.
Immediately after you complete this task,you’ll see the second Obelisk across the courtyard. Disable itusing the same method, but turn your attention to dispatching the Priests of Order first.
Rally with the reinforcements as more Mazken (or Aureal) guards join the fight, before the unthinkable happens.
Suddenly, Jyggalag will emerge and defeat your army, leaving you in a one-on-one engagement.
Jyggalagis a massive enemy whocanAbsorb Healthand do massiveFrost and Shock damage, so equip anySpell Absorption, Frost, or Lightning-resistant gearyou have.
Magic isn’t very effective against Jyggalag, and you can’t cheese him with paralysis, so you’ll need to rely on other means to defeat this foe.
Lash out with yourbest melee or marksman attackswhile keeping yourself healed to avoid falling to one of Jyggalag’s potentially lethal attacks.
What Rewards Do You Get From The End Of Order?
Once Jyggalag is defeated, listen to what he has to say. Then it’s time to meet up with Haskill to receive your reward andbegin The Prince of Madness.
You’ll need to wait to receive a real reward until after this next quest.
