Sheep Dragon Shepherd Monk Overview
Sheep dragon shepherd monks areknown for their close relationship with sheep dragons, a mythical creature that resides on Obojima.
Their shepherd training allows them to assist their allies by using Ki or Focus Points, andmanipulate movement on the field of battle.

Herding Sheep
3
You gain the ability to herd allies, potentially moving them out of harm’s way.

As a bonus action, you canspend one or more ki or focus points tocause a willing creature within 60 feet of you to movetoward you or in any other direction without provoking opportunity attacks.
Wind Shot
6
You can recreate the sheep dragon’s wind pistol, attacking enemies with powerful winds.

Whenever you make an unarmed strike, you can instead choose tofire a blast of air from your mouth at a range of 60 feet, using the same stats as your unarmed strike.
This abilitycan also push enemies 10 feet awayif they fail a Strength save DC. You must spend a ki or focus point to do this.
Intercepting Maneuver
As a reaction, you can spend one ki or focus point toreduce incoming damage made to an ally within 10 feet of you, equivalent to a roll of your Martial Arts die + Dex.
Take To The Skies
11
When you use Step of the Wind, yougain a flying speed akin to the sheep dragons you herd.
When you do so, you can alsotake both the Disengage and Dash action at the same time.
Guide To The Herd

When youuse Patient Defense, you can spend an additional focus or ki pointtoshare that benefit with allies.
Monks in the 2024 Player’s Handbook follow the same level-up structure, meaning this subclass is very easy to import into a non-Obojima campaign.
Best Ability Scores For A Sheep Dragon Shepherd Monk
For monks,Dexterity and Wisdom are always going to be your most important stats, as these skills dictate many of your monk abilities and the strength of your attacks.
Details
Dexterity
Dexterity informs the strength of your Unarmed Strikes, which use your Dex modifier instead of Strength for attacks, so you’ll want tomake Dex your highest stat.
Wisdom
Wisdom informs many things, including save DCs for some of your monk abilities, so you’ll want tomake Wisdom your second-highest stat.
Strength
Monks have proficiency in Strength-saving throws, so capitalize on this andmake Strength your next-highest stat.
Constitution
As monks are often in melee range with enemies, they’ll be subject to a lot of damage, so you’ll want tomake Constitution a relatively high stat.
Intelligence
Intelligence is not very important to monks, but there are some stats they can choose to be proficient in that require Intelligence, soplace a decent stat in Intelligence.
Charisma
Charisma is not relevant to any monk abilities, so you should feel free toplace your lowest stat in Charisma.
In the 2024 Player’s Handbook, Ki Points are referred to as Focus Points; however, ultimately these are interchangeable.
