Quick Links
Fields of Mistriaoffers a ton of things to do in a day. Farming, ranching, mining, fishing, andromancing that dorky archeologistare only some of the ways to while away the hours. It’s so much, that you might find yourself wishing there was more time in each day. Well, good news! That’s an option.
Added in a post-launch update, the accessibility settings menu now includes the option to extend how long each day lasts. But it’s not as dramatic, or as clearly explained, as you might like. We’ve broken everything down into more understandable terms and have even offered an alternative if you’re still not satisfied.

How To Change The Day Speed In The Settings
From the in-game pause screen,go to the Settings taband selectthe Accessibility section. At the top will be aDay Time Speed option. Selecting that, you will be prompted to pick one of three settings:Normal, Longer, and Longest.
This setting isnot available from the main menuoptions. It can only be changed after loading into a save game.
Each setting will change the full day duration to their respective speeds, outlined below. Note that theseonly take effect after sleeping and starting the next day.
15 Minute Days
Time durations are approximate.
The game issuesa warning that NPC schedules are based on normal time. But in our time with the extended options,we noticed little to no differencein our NPC interactions.
Mods That Change The Day Speed
If you’re not satisfied with the time speed provided by the base game, community-made mods, likeTime of Mistria by ArchieOwO, allow you toadjust those settings even further. These can reduce the rate of time toas slow as zero percent(time doesn’t pass at all!).
Installing these mods is a bit more of a process, and there’s no guarantee that these mods will remain functional after any game updates. As such, caution is advised when going this route.
