InKoira, many of the game’s puzzles involve finding items and throwing them. You’ll need to find items to feed your little dog companion, things you may use to distract hunters, and even objects to make snowmen.
Early on in the game, a puzzle requires you to knock apples down from a tree to feed your dog. Since Koira is pretty vague, you’re not told what you need to do to get them down. Thankfully, getting the apples is easy once you’re pointed in the right direction.
How To Knock Apples From Trees
To knock apples down from the tree, you need tofind something to pick up and throw. Throughout the game, you’ll be able to find snowballs, hats, and various other things you can throw. However,you’ll need sticksinitially.
When you first need to know apples down from the tree, you’llfind a stick to the right of the tree, by the black clouds.
You canpick it up by pressing X if you’re on PlayStation or A on Xbox. Then, hold X/A again and aim the cursor at the apple. When you’re hovering over the apple, a small box will appear around it. That means you have targeted the apple and you can let go of X/A. Once you do, Koira will throw the apple and it’ll drop to the ground.
Provided you don’t lose it, you can use the same stick to throw at as many apples as you’d like.
How To Feed Apples To Your Dog
With the apple now on the ground, you’ll want to pick it up and give it to your dog. Justwalk over to the apple and press the same button you did to pick up the stick.
Then, walk over to wherever your dog is andpress X/A again to give it to him. He’ll eat it and glow happily.
If the apple lands right next to your dog, he’ll eat it himself without you having to pick it up and give it to him.
