Syluswas releasedmidway throughLove and Deepspace’sfirst year, and with an April birthday, wasn’t able to celebrate duringthe game’s impressive debut year. But the wait is finally over, Sylus’s birthday is finally here, and he’s invited us to celebrate!
Night Whisper is Sylus’s first-ever birthday event, and during the event period, you can bake him a cake, prepare a special birthday message, and pull for his limited-time five-star birthday memory in the accompanying Where Hearts Live Wish Pool. There are plenty of fun surprises to prepare and just a week to prepare them. Without further ado, here’s how to wish Sylus a happy birthday!
Night Whisper runs fromApril 13 to June 23, 2025. After the event period, you cannot obtain any limited rewards or event memoriesunless they are rerunnext year, as with Rafayel’s birthday memories inUntil Twilight.
Night Whisper Story Stages
To start the Night Whisper event, navigate to theevents tabin Deepspace Café andselect the Event button. When you enter the events tab for the first time during the event window, you willautomatically start the event prologue(or the first story stage).
Afteryou havecompletedthe first story stage, you will have access to the main event page. At the top of the main event screen, there arefour birthday pennant banners. Each banner coincides with a different story stage for the event.
You can’t access this page or any other events in the event tabuntil you have played through the full prologueof the event. If you want to speed through to the events page, you can alwaysset the prologue to auto and double speedusing the bottom toggles. You can return to it atany time.
Story stages don’t all release at once, so you will have towait until each stage is unlockedfor the entire server before you can enter them. The unlock dates are as follows:
Stage Four
April 18 0:00 (Sylus’ birthday!)
The first few stages will unlock two days apart, but the final stage, stage four, unlocks onSylus' actual birthday, April 18.
Be sure to have your birthday cake and card completedbeforeentering the fourth event stage, as once you enter it,your DIY cake and card will be finalized,and you will receive those items asdesk decorationsfor the With Him desk.
If you want to replay an event story or missed part of one while you were playing them, don’t worry. During the evnet period, you can return to all story stages by selecting the corresponding pennants at the top of the screen. You can alsoreplay each stage from the Love Timeline.
How To Complete Inspiration Collection Stages
Inspiration Collection is the event’s associatedmini-game. If you playedRafayel’s birthday event, Until Twilight, you may recognize the mechanics.
In Inspiration Collection, you mustmaneuver a cardboard cutoutof Mephisto through a little cloudscape to catch falling cake ingredients. Each stage hasthree ingredientsthat will fall from the top of the stage.
To collect ingredients,tap and hold the arrowsat the bottom of the screen on either side. These arrows will move Mephisto from one end of the stage to the other to catch the falling ingredients.
Ingredientsdo not have to hit Mephisto’s head, so you can catch falling ingredients with his tail or talonsjust before they hit the ground.
You must collect target ingredients whileavoiding trash ingredients.Sometimes, invalid ingredients, like rotted leaves, will fall from the sky.Do not catch these purple leavesas they will break your inspiration streak.
Every15 consecutive ingredientsyou collect gives you a burst of inspiration. Inspiration burstsincrease the number of target ingredientsthat fall and willprevent invalid ingredientsfrom falling during the burst’s duration.
Sometimes, it’s not possible to collect every ingredient, especially during an inspiration burst, as theyfall too quicklyand too numerous. If you’re unable to catch every ingredient, don’t worry.You aren’t penalizedfor the ones you miss.Try prioritizing double dropswhen possible to make up for those you missed.
Each ingredient that you collect has anassociated event cap. You can check these by selecting the Ingredients tabat the topof the Inspiration Collection stage screen. Once you have enough of each ingredient, you canhead to the Blueprints tabto cash them in.
At the end of each stage, you will also get anupdated cap notificationfor the ingredients you collected in that stage.
Cake Building And Birthday Message
One of the special things about birthday events is that they don’t just allow you to create a keepsake for your love interest,but also for yourself!During the event, you canbake a custom cake for Sylususing the ingredients you collected in Inspiration Collection. At the end of the event,you get to keep this cakeas a desk item.
You can alsocreate a special birthday messagefor Sylus. After the event, if you have his birthday cake on his desk, you canselect the cake and read the messageyou prepared for him.
How To Create A Custom Birthday Card
Creating a custom birthday card is simple, as long as you follow the rules laid out by the devs. To make a custom birthday message for Sylus, select theHeart’s Whisper tab. Birthday messages can only be60 characters.
Remember, you will be able tokeep this messageafter the event is over, so consider your messages carefully before submitting your final one. Once you begin Sylus’fourth story stage,on his birthday, youcannotmake any changes to your message.
Each messagehas to be reviewedbefore it can be finalized, as do cake designs. Messages and designs that contain profanity, threats, or other negative language may be deleted, resulting inrepercussions against your account.
Blueprints
The Blueprints menu is where you will be able totrade in your hard-earned ingredientsfor cake elements. There are15 elements to unlock.Each element also has acorresponding storyto read after it is unlocked.
Elements requiretwo types of ingredientsto unlock. So, for instance, to unlock theRaven Candlestick, you need to use25 Cocoa and 25 red gems.
You will be able tounlock every elementafter collectingevery ingredienttype in Inspiration Collection. So, once all of your ingredient caps are full, you can unlock every item in the Blueprints menu, and thus, use every item to decorate your custom birthday cake.
Unfortunately, youcannot return to any of the stories you unlockwith each element after the event is over. Unlike story stages, these mini-storieswill not be savedin the Love Timeline.
How To Create A Custom Birthday Cake
Now that you have collected and unlocked all of your ingredients and elements, it’s time tobake your cake!
To start making a custom cake for Sylus, head to theDIY tab. Here, you canstart organizing your collected elementsinto a beautiful birthday creation.
you may customize your cake’sshape, flavor, topper, decor, and banner.Some elements can be usedmore than onceto improve your designs. For instance, you can usetwo flavorsin your cake and can useas many toppers and decor pieces as you would liketo create your final design.
Like with the birthday message, you need tokeep your designs relatively PG, as they will need topass inspectionbefore they can be locked in.
You canrotate your cake and layer elementson top of each other as much as you would like. You’ll be able to rotate the cake when you earn it as apermanent desk item, as well. You can evenedit the candle and candle placement.
Make sure you have your favorite design locked in before starting chapter four of the event story, as youwon’t be able to make any changesto your cake after you have presented it to Sylus.
If you’re not feeling particularly sentimental or creative, youdon’t have to make a cakeor leave your cake a blank canvas. If youselect the Presetbutton, there are several cake presets for you to choose from. You can select one and either edit it how you would like, or use it as is and receive it as a desk ornament later.
Event Tasks
As with every event, there aretasks for you to complete dailyand throughout the event. When you complete event tasks, you will earnSugar Maple leaves.
These leaves can be exchanged in the Tendre Shop.
Tendre Shop
The Tendre Shop has severallimited items and resourcesfor you to purchase using your collected Sugar Maple leaves. You can easily earnmore than enoughSugar Maple leaves to purchase every item in the shop, just fromcompleting Event Tasks.
The highlights of the shop include aspecial outfit for Sylus, eventmusic,a specialavatar,athree-star memory,andphoto decorations, as well as a wealth ofbattle resourceslike Energy Capsules and Gold.
Where Hearts Live Wish Pool
Accompanying Night Whisper is theWhere Hearts Live Wish Pool. In the Wish Pool, you may spendDeepspace Wishes and Deepspace Wish: Limitedto pull for Sylus’s limited five-star birthday memory,Sylus: Where Hearts Live.

Other Birthday Memories
Sylus: Where Hearts Live is not the only birthday memory you can earn during Night Whisper. You can purchase thethree-star memory, Sylus: Gifted Arrival, and enough copies tofully rank it,in the Tendre shop.
After the event ends, you may pull Sylus: Gifted Arrival from theGalaxy Explorer screen.

When DEF is above 200, every 10 DEF more boosts your weakness DMG by 0.2%.
Current And Upcoming Events
Alongside Night Whisper, you can participate in a few other special events. As mentioned above, Where Hearts Live is alimited event poolthat will run the same duration as Night Whisper, fromApril 13 to May 18, 2025.
Additionally, the10 Days With Youevent is also running. During this event, you canlog in for ten daysand collect a series of special rewards, including a limitedfour-star Sylus memory, Sylus: Chaotic Velocity.The event runs fromApril 03 to April 20.
Finally, fromApril 14 to April 27,you have increased odds of pulling the limited 2-prong claw machine prize,Jiggly Pudding.
