Easter eggs in Zombies maps are what Zombies players love, and they enjoy hunting down every single one of them whenever a new map is released inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6. While not all Easter eggs are discovered immediately, the hunt remains to find every single one on the new Shattered Veil map.
Among the numerous side Easter eggs available on Shattered Veil is one that’s quite interesting. You know when you meet SAM in person in the underground section of the mansion, right? But did you know that you can turn SAM into a powerful trap that you can use to help defeat zombies? This guide will show you all the steps.
How To Activate Lazer Sam Trap Easter Egg
The first step to start this Easter egg is tomake your way to SAM, which isthe same path as the Pack-a-Punch on Shattered Veil.
Inside the Pack-a-Punch room,you should see a computer on the left side. Interact with it, and the screen will say ‘System Rebooting…’
After doing this, andstill in the same round, you need tointeract with one of the three other computers scattered around the mansion.
Once you do that, progress to the next round and thenreturn to check the computer you interacted with.
Now you will have one of two outcomes: either the computer screen will showa yellow screenthat says ‘Cleaning,’ ora red screenthat looks like a skull.
You need to get the red screen. When you do, interact with the computer one more timeto get a floppy disk from it.

The event in which you interact with a computer to get the red screenis completely random, andit might take you several tries to get it, or you could get it on the first try. So even if you interact with all of them and still don’t get it, just keep going until you do.
Remember, after you interact with one of these computers,progress one round and go back to check it again.
After you get the floppy disk,make your way back to the main computerinside the Pack-a-Punch room and interact with it to insert the disk inside.
This will trigger the computer to start the ‘System Booting…’ sequence. Now,move on to the next round and then interact with the computer, where it will now show the ‘Cleaning’ menu.
Progress one more roundand then interact with the computer again. This time, it will showa red screen that says ‘SAM Infected.’
Finally, after one more interaction with the computer,SAM will turn into a laser trapthat you can use.
SAM will start shooting lasers as soon as you activate the Easter egg, but you may reuse it again for 2,000 Essence.
The laser trap will continue killing zombies and seems to stay active longer than the usual traps.
