Throughout the history of Call of Duty Zombies, players have encountered both intricate, long-winded Easter eggs and quick, fun ones. Each offers its own unique rewards and adds to the excitement of the Zombies experience. With the release of Shattered Veil in Season 3 ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, the crew finds themselves in a mysterious mansion, tasked with uncovering the secrets of the Sentinel Artifact.
In addition to the main Easter egg, there are plenty of optional ones to enjoy. One particular lighthearted Easter egg in this new map stands out: the ability to put all zombies to sleep and collect some free rewards.

How To Activate The Sleepwalking Easter Egg On Shattered Veil
The first step to starting the Sleepwalking Easter egg is toreach round 11 on Shattered Veil. After doing that, make your way to the study roomlocated to the east of the mansion.
In the corner, you should see a grandfather clock. As long as you’re still on round 11,interact with it; this will cause the dials on the clock to spin, and the time will read as midnight.
Now, you can reduce the number of zombies, but DO NOT progress the round. Instead, make your way to the Director’s Quartersto the west of the mansion, the same room where you can findthe Circuit Board for the Pack-a-Punch machine.
Here, you will see a bed, and what you need to do isgo prone and then kill the remaining zombies.
It’s best to keep one or two zombies left so you won’t risk dying while staying prone on the bed.
After completing this step, the round will change to round 12, and shortly after, you will hear some bells, andthe screen will go black for a few seconds.
When the screen comes back, you will see some footprintsthat will lead you to a treasure.BUTbefore you start following them, make sure you do not run and remain crouched the entire time.
Along the way, as you follow the footprint path, you will come across sleeping zombies that will not attack you, so just keep following the path.
Eventually, the path will lead you to a treasure chest. However, it’s locked, and you need to find the key to open it.
The path and the chest location are random in every match.
To get the key for the chest, you need tofind a sleeping zombie, usuallyan armored zombie, near the chest area. The zombiewill have colored Zzz symbols coming from its head.
Here, you have the choice to eitherapproach the zombie and take the key from it or kill it. Either way, this won’t disturb the Easter egg.
Take the key back to the chestand unlock it, and you should receive free rewards such as Essence, Salvage, perhaps a free perk, or an Aether tool;the rewards are random.
