The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remasteredis brimming with quests, with nearly every town and NPC offering a task for you to undertake. These quests vary greatly in difficulty and objectives - some might require you to fight a monster, while others involve more peculiar requests, like helping someone with a paranoid issue.
Take Ranarr-Jo, for example. From your first interaction with him, it’s clear that he’s one of the more paranoid characters in the game. At first, he appears to be just a simple farmer, but as you listen to him, it becomes apparent that something’s not right. There’s a situation with his boss in town that’s been keeping him on edge, and he’s turning to you for help in dealing with it.

This quest is part of the Shivering Isles DLC.
How To Start Everything In Its Place Quest
to start the Everything in its Place quest, you need to first make your way to a location called Fellmoor, which can belocated just south of the map.
In this location, find Ranarr-Jo, who will be working on the farm. Speak to him, andthe quest Everything in Its Place will start immediately.

Ranarr-Jo has trust issues and won’t tell you what’s really happening,so he directs you to speak to Kishashi, who can also be found nearby, working.
When you speak to her, she will ask you toget her five water root pod pits to gain her trust.
Luckily for you, you can easily gather these from the water areas where they grow, and it won’t be considered a crime.
Once you have five of them, head back to Kishashi andgive her the plants.
She will then thank you andgive you a spoon as proof that you can show to Ranarr-Jo so he’ll know he can trust you, and so you’ll know what’s really happening.
How To Complete Everything In Its Place Quest
During your conversation with Ranarr-Jo, you will learn thatthey are worried about Cindanwe and need your help in disposing of her. Now, there are a couple of ways in which you can complete this task.
First, and the most obvious one,is to just kill her in her sleep or sneak on her when she is alone, and that’s done. The alternative thatRanarr-Jo suggests is to wreck her house and make her life miserable.
Now, this is not as obvious, but one way to do that is by usingblast items with projectile spells and throwing items, just causing some mess at her house when she is not around.
The method of how you get rid of her does not affect the reward.
What does matter isgetting her notebook, which can either be pickpocketed from her or looted from her corpse when you kill her. After the deed is done, return to Ranarr-Jo and speak to him toinform him that he has nothing to worry about anymore.
As a reward, he will give you theRing of Mind Shielding, but if you managed to get her notebook as well, you will receive an additional reward which isa random skill book.
