No matter which city you pick to start out with inInZoi, you’re going to need to get around a lot of new and exciting places to accommodate your schedule. Not everything is within walking distance, even in a metropolitan area. Thankfully, there’s public transportation, but where’s the fun in making your way to a bus stop?
Instead, you can get your own personal vehicle and take it across town. Additionally, you can get behind the wheel to take direct control of your Zoi’s fate on the road. We’ll show you how to get a car and use it responsibly–though whether you drive safely is up to you.
InZoi is in early access, so details are subject to change. As such, we’ll update our guides as needed.
How To Buy A Car
Tired of taking the bus around town? You canpurchase a vehiclefor your Zois to drive around town. Each Zoi can purchase a vehicle for themselves, and it willappear outside their homeon the street.
There’s a decorative car you can purchase in Build Mode, but it’s not operational.
To purchase a car, open your Zoi’s smartphone andselect the Dream Car app. Here, you can scroll through a variety of cars to find the one thatbest fits your Zoi’s personalityand needs:

Manual Driving Vs. Automatic Driving
Once you have your own car, it’sa lot easier to get aroundyour chosen city. The Zoi who purchased the vehicle isthe one who can driveit, and you cansummon the car at any timeby traveling via the map orusing the interaction menuto call your car.
There’s more to driving than just summoning the car, however. you may choose between manual driving and automatic arrival.
How To Manually Drive A Car
Manually driving a car is one of the best parts of inZOI. Get behind the wheel anddrive in first or third personaround town. Use the WASD keys tomanually move the carand zip through the streets.
Be careful not to hit other cars or zois, as it can cause a fatal traffic accident! Unless you intentionally want to.
Manually driving allows you tofreely explore the citywithout any constraints, minus the bounds of the neighborhood. You canchange this setting at any timefrom the settings menu.
How To Automatically Drive To Locations
The safest (and default) way to drive is to have your Zoi handle the road. Your Zoi willhop in the car and driveto their destination,following all the rules of the roadso they arrive safely.
It’s far less exciting and scenic, as you’ll often get a loading screen between your home and destination.
How To Sell Your Car
When you’re ready toget rid of your car or upgradeto a better one, you canopen the Dream Car app on your phoneand select the option to sell your vehicle. You’ll begiven a lump sumfor it and the car will no longer be accessible to you.
You’refree to purchase a new vehicleor fullyrely on public transportation. A car is a luxury item in inZOI, so youdon’t need one to get around–though it is awfully fun and convenient.
