Sadly, these connections are often severed as teams engage in trade deals and aggressive free-agent signings every year. It’s a cruel reality of sports, but it also means new players get to join your preferred squad.
These roster changes are reflected in all yearly sports titles, andMLB The Show 25is no different. The New Threads Program shows off marquee players in their new homes and lets you add a few to your Diamond Dynasty roster as you progress and acquire stars.
New Threads Program Rewards
Programs in MLB The Show 25 adopta battle pass structure:earn starsto collect rewards. You’ll get these stars bycompleting objectives with varying criteria. The New Threads Program features20 rewards to earn, and they are as follows:

How Moments Work
Moments are themost straightforward way to get stars; you’re dropped into aspecific situation with a specific playerand asked toperform one baseball-related feat. If successful, you’llclaim your starsand progress through the New Threads Program.

PXP Missions
PXP refers toParallel XP, the experience your players accrue in Diamond Dynasty. They canearn some just by being placed in your active roster, but their growth isgreatly expedited by making good plays, like hitting a home run or punching out a batter. Use New Threads players after unlocking them to garner PXP,gaining you starsand helping you finish the Program.

New Threads Series Collections
Diamond Dynasty cards can becollected into sets, and completing one will get you a reward. If you collect all 86 overall New Threads players,you’ll be given 30 stars, and if you manage to get every 88 overall card,you’re gifted 70. you may find these players both inProgram progression and individually purchased card packs.
If you’re able to get the entire New Threads card set, you’ll be granted an 89 overall New Threads Anthony Santander, left fielder for the Blue Jays.
