The Rite of the Nine event inDestiny 2brought with it a new title: Eternal. Demonstrate your mastery over the Nine’s updated dungeons, and you’ll be able to earn an updated arsenal of new weapons, cosmetics, and this limited-time title. Earning Eternal is fairly straightforward, requiring you to earn Gold-tier completions in every updated dungeon while completing all of Orin’s quests.

Beating the dungeons on Ultimatum might prove difficult for some players, but if you can get a strong fireteam together and practice on Explorer difficulty first, you can get your hands on Eternal without much trouble. Today, we’ll be looking at how to complete every Triumph for this title, linking to our respective guides for each challenge to make the title grind as seamless as possible.

Destiny 2 Rite of the Nine Hub

Seasoned Dungeoneer

Complete all of the “Into the Dungeon” quests.

“Into the Dungeon” refers to a series of quests from Orin, the main vendor for the Rite of the Nine event. Whenever a new dungeon releases, Orin will have a quest available to clear every encounter from the new dungeon on any difficulty. There arethree “Into the Dungeon” quests in total, one for each dungeon:Spire of the Watcher,Ghosts of the Deep, andProphecy.

This Triumph should beunlockable starting June 3, as this is when the third and final dungeon, Prophecy, will become available.

Destiny 2 The Emissary Quests

Foiled Again

Complete all nine “Elegant Arsenal” quests.

Most weapons in Rite of the Nine have a dedicated “Elegant Arsenal” quest that, when completed, awards a curated roll of that weapon. There are nine quests in total, three for each dungeon. All nine quests will become available starting June 10.

Seeker Of The Nine

Find all six hidden collectibles in Spire of the Watcher, Ghosts of the Deep, and Prophecy.

Rite of the Nine has added six new collectibles to find in its dungeon suite, two per dungeon. These collectibles are golden engrams you can find during platforming sections, usually just before a boss encounter. Since dungeons rotate each week, this Triumph won’t be redeemable untilJune 3 at the earliest. If you missed a certain dungeon, all three will become available starting June 17and last until the Edge of Fate launches.

Gold Score Completion Triumphs

The remaining Triumphs require you to earn Gold scores in all three dungeons on the two hardest difficulty modes, Eternity and Ultimatum.A Gold score requires your fireteam to die no more than once. This is across your whole squad, not per person. Ultimatum clears do not grant progress for the Eternity Triumphs, so you’ll need to clear each dungeon at least twice.

Running The Gauntlet

Complete a dungeon gauntlet from beginning to end.

A dungeon gauntlet should become available towards the end of the Rite of the Nine event. If this works like Pantheon, there will be a special gauntlet node on the Eternity map that will require you to beat a mix of encounters from all three dungeons in one sitting. It could also be referring to a series of back-to-back dungeon clears in one sitting; the API doesn’t make this clear.

Regardless, this Triumph should become obtainable starting on June 17 when all three dungeons become farmable.
